You know, the Muji gravity mechanical pencil is actually a shaker pencil. There should be a weight inside of the pencil (if u tilt the pen from tip to eraser it should from side to side) which is the mechanism. Shake the up and down a few times and lead should come out! That's why the pencil is expensive.
I owe the same one and it is a shaker pencil :p even the tag it has, it shows its a shaker pencil, because it asks to unlock the lock to start shaking it
The nearest Muji stalll is a 45min-1hour ride . I last visited it since I was 7-9 years old . I didn't know it was a muji stall at that time . I just followed my cousin in to the stall and bought some stationary
I had the same problem with my Muji pens and Zebra Mildliners. I fixed it by laying down the Mildliner first and then using the Muji pen on top. It's been really useful when I'm doing my bullet journal layouts.
The retractable pen looks like it is exactly a zebra sarasa pen. I even caught a glimpse of the ink cartridge and it has the same lettering as the zebra sarasa. I have several zebra sarasa pens and I love them! They are well worth the shipping wait!
I just ordered the muji cap pens and some zebra highlighters along with some dot paper and some binders. It's nice to know that i'm not the only person that buys random stationery when i'm anxious.
The lead pencil you spent $8 on is one of the shaker pencils :P if you turn the plastic nob thing the sticker indicates then shake the pencil, the lead would dispense itself

Unfortunately they only had grid loose leaf paper. Anyone know of a Muji location that has lined loose leaf paper?

문세나 maybe it's locked? There is another feature of locking the shaker mechanism; the label on the side explains how to do so.
