- A #PorscheMacan has been the least expensive way to get into the Porsche family new since 2015 and since then, Porsche has given the #Macan some updates over the years. For 2022, the #MacanGTS is now the most powerful version yet and it got a final round of updates before a new generation is due in 2024. #Porsche has given all the trims more power and for 2023, the #MacanT is the newest additional to the family, taking the sport options we like on the higher trims and applying it to the base engine. It still drives like a #PorscheCayman sports car, just a little taller.

Yes, an all-electric Macan is coming for 2024, but until then, get one of this fabulous petrol powered Macan's while you can. We expect this car with the Sport Chrono Package to sprint to 60 mph in well under 4 secs. Would you guys wait for the electric one or get one of these right now?

Get this one! One of the best in its segment and probably drives great. The 2.9L V6 is known to sound good, but the EV Macan is one I’m excited for!
Who wants a car there only achieves 22 highway MPGs? I understand it's a hell of a car but you're gonna be refueling every 3 days.

I just custom ordered a 23 Macan GTS, excited to get this car. Miami Blue with beige interior with GT design 21 satin platinum wheels with all other goodies. Can’t wait for delivery in November!
Was it difficult getting an allocation? Also curious, did they hit you with an adm fee?
@@johngalt5411 the allocations are tight for sure because of the shortage and the boat burning. Some dealers have ADM and some don’t. BUT there’s a big waitlist for no mark-up so get on it asap! Taycan and 911’s custom ordering is a 2 year wait.

I recently test drove the Macan S model @ my Porsche dealership. For me, the S model is the way to go! I specced out mine @ Porsche USA and it came in @ $ 87K! Yeah, a whole lot of money for this 2 row SUV but what a sweet ride!
For $250 add A PEDAL COMMANDER. I have one on my 2017 Macan S and it's a game changer. Best money ever spent on any of my car upgrades.

It should of had a fully digital instrument cluster for the price.
The Taycan and new 911 style interiors will slowly make its way throughout the Porsche lineup.

Porsche nickel and dimes you for every option that you can get. They would charge you for a steering wheel if they could lol 😆
@@OM_42 Yup, Porsche knows many of its buyers will fight tooth and nail not to pay employees $15/hour, but will gladly spend $1,000 on color seatbelts or 'designer' logos within the cabin. In fact, if you ticked every box I bet you could easily get this Macan past $120K.
Porsche is inconsistent, which I find very confusing when shopping their various models. Some GTS trims include Chrono, some do not. Some give you access to Sport+ through the menus w/o Chrono some do not, bizarre.

I have a 2017 GTS. It has sport Chrono, but I never use launch control. Frankly, I could live without it, but it helps resale value.

Test drove one of these today…didn’t blow me away like the Alfa Romeo Stelvio Quadrifoglio.
Love it. I would get this Macan if I wasn't getting a Rivian. Love the looks and the performance - hate the MPG. I sometimes drive aggressively, I would be filling this up at least twice a week. I sure I would get about 14 MPG on a good week; but I would be having fun - so It's all good.
The X3M competition is nice also. But I think this looks sexier

Cherry pick options from the Premium Pkg (I selected BOSE & the Panoramic roof), add Sport Chrono and that beautiful leather interior and you can get into this for $90K.

Does anyone know if Macan GTS pre-2022 come standard with PSE? Or did that only take place once GTS replaced Turbo in ‘22
I was surprised to see it had the power tilt/telescoping steering column, it’s one option that was removed because of the supply chain issues.
Yeah, I think this must be an older 2022 press car he’s driving. AFAIK, 2023s will also be missing the power columns.
Mine is Black with Satin PPF, front end looks very good with that extra expense.
The first iteration of the Macan has the best design in my opinion. This one looks like it’s wearing black lipstick.
Best daily driver ever
I had a 2016 Macan S and enjoyed driving it. The things I noticed about it was it did have some turbo lag until it hit above 2,000 rpms. I ended up selling it and now have a 2018 BMW x3 m40i, which is faster but doesn't have the same cornering and poise the Macan had as far as driving dynamics.
Porsche's definitely seem to be head turners versus BMW but that's not what I bought either for. I wanted more power and the M40i seems faster than the 2018 Porsche GTS and as fast as the turbo for that year, but for much less money.
Does the BMW have turbo lag?
My most favourite compact SUV. What a beauty.
I only don't like the touch on the middle console.

I thought the 2023s started production this July with August delivery so this is a 2022?
Makes no sense for a GTS trim car to not have Sport Chrono, that's supposed to be included

S and GTS is exactly the same in terms of engine -- just not tuned to 434.

Surprised that reviewers compare Macan to X3 when it’s clearly the X4 M Comp that’s the direct competitor
What shocks me is that fords 3.5 twin turbo ecoboost gets one mpg better yet has a lot more torque, it does make a little less horsepower but also weighs quite a bit more and isn’t as aerodynamic. The way I feel is that when you pay the hefty porche price this engine should have gotten a couple mpg better than a heavier truck is all

Acceleration and handling is practically identical to the S. This is all Porsche marketing bs. They underrated the S's hp figures

As someone who owns a 2022 cayman gts 4.0 and a 2023 macan gts… so far you have said the macan looks like a cayman… ummm not even CLOSE… then you said it’s drives like a cayman… like… W. T. F. are you talking about? I mean the macan gts handles very well, but a similarly equipped cayman handles so much better. You should stick to things you understand. Decent review fwiw. Also the manual mode moved from the shifter to the left hand side of the steering wheel.

Not really sure what additional power you need. This does 0-60 in 3.5 seconds. That is close to super car fast.......in an SUV.
@@glucia2223 Porsche claims 4,5 sec. but that wasn't my question. This here is a turbo engine and the GT3 engine is a natural aspirated high revving one, and I was just curious, how this configuration in an SUV would sell.
@@0Turbox Porsche always undersells their time and they also give that number without the Sport Chrono package. It is 3.5 on a GTS with sport chrono. And wasn’t trying to be a jerk. Was just really wondering if anyone else would need anymore power. This is super car speed in a large body. Anymore power would probably be overkill and not really usable. But I get your point/question on a naturally aspirated engine. The only Performance SUV that I can think of it has a naturally aspirated engine is the jaguar F pace SVR. It’s a big and beautiful V8, but still slower than a GTS.

My fav compact SUV but it’s too small for my 6’-3” frame. The cargo area is paltry and sloping roof makes it worse. Porsche should make this car slightly bigger inside nd reduce the rear roof rake a bit. They must reduce curb weight too. Can’t wait to see the new one 👍

I've been driving my 2015 Macan S for 6 years.. I'm 6ft7 with no issues with leg room at all, I can even allow a small child to sit behind me if needed for short trips.

Although fast and really good looking I think the market for a sport suv at 90k is really dwindling. A Tesla would absolutely demolish this with no gas needed. Someone please help me understand who buys this gas hog in 2022 and beyond…
I prefer the sound of the V6 with the crack and pops of the exhaust on my X3M. That said, to each their own

I can't afford a Macan (or a Tesla for that matter), but if I could, I'd take Porsche's build quality over Tesla's any day of the week and twice on Sunday. I'd also be willing to bet that this drives way better than any Tesla. There's more to driving than just insane 0-60 times. Ride quality matters.
I can’t afford either but I would never recommend a Tesla who wants a boring car Tesla’s are only cool for their straight like acceleration and all the tech which is gimmicky. They’re also Lowkey the best electric car manufacturer however the competition is catching up. Every Tesla looks the same no options besides autopilot and one wheel option. 5 colors 2 interior colors so boring and common. Porsches are unique because they have so many different configuration options and so many different colors and materials on the exterior and interior. Porsche will hold its value more long term probably be more reliable, and you’ll enjoy it more than a Tesla each time you drive it. You don’t even look cool driving a Tesla you look like a nerd. Driving a Porsche you look sexy in a way. Besides the Tesla has horrible build quality while Porsche has excellent quality. It’s night and day Porsche is superior

I'll wait for the EV version. I'd like a Taycan GTS Sport Turismo, but wish it were taller. Ergo a Macan EV. I imagine the EV GTS will come out a year after the base model does.

Leave it to the Germans to always do something weird like leave off a HUD on a car this luxurious and this expensive. Most lower tier cars have HUD even if its not the most advanced in the industry. VW give you a power driver seat, with a manual passenger side seat. Or half power, and half manual. Who invents these bizarro combinations?

Crazy thing is I don’t think any on their vehicles have a digital which is unacceptable. I was debating between Audi or an Porsche a couple months back but had to go with the Audi.

The front bumper with that black insert you’d have to buy this car in black so that would not stick out like a sore thumb. Awful design should be painted to match the car. Just not no about the design very jellybean looking
