Ditto -- massively helpful!!! I especially appreciate how you pause the video so we can actually see the exact location of all the cords. Thank you SOOOO much for posting this!!
Is the video stopping every 3-10 seconds at certain parts for everyone else? If it is I could see why, like pausing at certain important moments, it's happened on other videos I've watched on this channel too, so I'm a little confused about whether it is a glitch or on purpose. Just want to make sure there isn't something I'm missing here lol. It is the best tutorial on how to add cord, I appreciate the crochet hook tip too, since a lot of tutorials tell you how to add but not hide the tails, which is a weird thing to leave out. Thanks!❤️
No that shouldn’t be happening, lol- I’m not sure what’s going on but I’m guessing it has something to do with the app, sorry about that! I’m glad the tutorial is helping you out though 😊😊
OMG!! If only I had known the proper way to do it back in the 70's!!! It happened only once and I remember gluing the cords together. It was a huge project with many different knots and decor which held a piece of glass as a table. I had made it for my bro-in-laws new house. After he hung it on the ceiling, and because the glass was heavy it sort of ripped his ceiling apart!!! Of course, where it was glued together, it didn't hold either. Never really liked that sister-in-law and secretly giggle at what happened. Nevertheless after not touching macrame since the 70's, my daughter-in-law bought me a kit last Christmas - and as usual, I was missing cord from the kit which was an owl with decor on the side. Because I could not find the exact cord, I fudged it with a different color on both sides which you really can't tell it was not part of the kit. I guess I learned from some great ideas that you have on your site!!! Thank you so much!
THANK YOU! I came into some cord due to hubby's hobby and wanted to try make a macrame belt but all the "beginner" and "guide" I found was shown incredibly fast and with cheesy music instead of a guide. You are the first I've found who actually explains it and take the time to do so (and not waving your hands infront of the cord all the time like many other videos 😅) So THANK YOU! You got yourself a like and a sub for this alone 💐
Oh my God, I'm so grateful to you for this video♥♥♥ It's a pity I didn't find it earlier. Yesterday, I simply cut short macrame cords and attached new long cords to each of them using transparent silicone bands. I was really worried if this construction would be too fragile and if the panel would unravel or get damaged over time because of it
Oh my goodness, thank you! This is going to save my project. I'm doing my first macrame craft ever and I have no idea what went wrong, but so many of my cords are running out. Now at least I know I can fix it!
What can I use to tuck the short cords behind the finished square knots if I don't have a crochet hook? I'm a newbie and I'm actually just working on my very first piece which has about 40-45 larks head knots (so, about 40-45 cord pairs that are approx. 1 yard long.) So, I've just ran out of the outside cords on the two far outside rows where I started and this helped me TREMENDOUSLY! YOUR instruction is the best I've seen yet, so can't wait to watch more videos... ❤️❤️❤️
Do you have a solution for adding cords for doing vertical double half hitch knots? My pattern had rows of square knots then horizontal double half hitches and now I’m adding two colours of vertical double half hitch knots and the cords are too short!🫤

I have a question. You are adding cord under a right facing square knot. Would you do the opposite if you are adding to a left facing square knot?
Thank you for showing how to add.
Thank you!!
Thank You....!!!!!
Excellent!
You saved me!!!
O yes thanks for the help

Estás son muchosas fáciles de otros que he visto. Gracias
Do you have any tips on how to do this using 2 colors on a spiral knot??
What if you are using two different colors??
🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏
How do you add cord when braiding in macrame?
Instead of taking shorts go up, take them down
What if I ran out of cord on a chinese crown knot :|
The pausing really throws me off
