This was Tommys first release after his well deserved summer vacation. Not that he rested too much. He has been busy finilazing tge new album for Majestica. One song out already, as you've been told. It's an old limestone quarry. A localky resident operasinger discovered its acoustics years ago and started a campaign for its transformation. Its now a wellrenowned venue summertime.
Great reaction, Ron thanks. I think Tommy can play guitar pretty well😂 I will struggle to watch Deep Purple's version now. Saw them perform this live in 1972, before it was 'Tommified' ❤ Wasn't Celine great at the opening ceremony? I have followed her fight with SPS, she has amazing strength.

Awesome! I was there and have several videos uploaded in YT. Tommy used some of the clips in this video from my video where they played Smoke On the Water ( all close up clips). It was awesome performances and Tommy is as good live as he is in his covers. An amazing musician! 👏🎼🇸🇪😍 If you are interested to see him live in Dalhalla (Rhapsody In Rock concert) I have all his performances uploaded in my channel.
Good morning Ron, I’m sure you know Deep Purple, ‘Smoke On The Water’, Highway Star, my favorite of theirs, Lazy. I think I sent you Lazy to review, covered by Andrei Cerbu and Sina the drummer. Sina did a drum cover of this song ‘Burn’ and it was reviewed by Ian Paice, who does a podcast for the online magazine, ‘Modern Drummer’, and he called her the best drummer on the internet today. Oh yeah, he’s also the drummer from Deep Purple and played the drum part you just listened to.😁 There’s a clip of that review you can look up. It’s surreal to watch him watching someone else play his part.
Hi Brad! Nice to hear from you. Yes, I do recall "Smoke on the Water" and I would probably recognize some of their music but not necessarily connect their name to it. I never sought out Deep Purple. No real reason I think but I was listening to others at the time and had limited funds - lol. I probably heard them on the radio while I was milking cows but I rarely caught the names of artists in that scenario - too busy keeping my head away from switching tails (they sting the eyes for sure) and the rest of me from being kicked (though most of the girls were well behaved). You're right, I did react to "Lazy." I always think it must be both terrifying and amazing to watch or listen to someone sing your song or play your part, etc. Of course, it would be a great honour, but what if you don't like it - lol.
