- The New Baldi 0.9 updated and i can't tell you what was added but i can tell you that i think i found something very strange with this new update

It’s a new sprite since Baldi doesn’t move his mouth for the entire game, only when he greets you but even then, his mouth doesn’t move much at all for anything else he says in the game sometimes.

it can be easily disregarded since mystman himself said no lore is canon before anything that's in 1.0
plus, the blue speck on his arm can be explained bc he simply has blue arm joints, they've been like that even in the original, in some frames of the slap animation
the difference in "freckles" can just be explained by different dithering methods, and his idle looks different probably because the original didnt rlly have frames of his mouth moving, those only appearing when he waves, so mystman had to make new renders to make him talk
so it IS baldi and NOT badsum 💥💥💥💥💥

the blue speck was originally gray, which makes me think that this is a remake and not new dithering methods, although it is most likely a combination of those two factors.

I believe that all these things you're noticing are due to rendering limitations in Anim8or (The program Mystman uses to animate Baldi), as well, I think the new one looks a lot cleaner and better rendered then the original.
The REAL reason why his tutorial sprite is different is because his "new" lip movement.
In the main mode his lip only talk more accurately when you get correct answer on math machine and also in the camping feild trip.
The reason why Baldi is original sprite in the start of each floor is because its iconic.

Fun fact: Creator of baldi confirmed that after 0.9 there will be 0.10 0.11 0.12 and so on. So we are not even close

It would probably be something like 0.91, 0.92, and so on since 0.10 is the same thing as 0.1 which wouldn’t make any sense.

The blue pixels on baldi's arm is just a visual issue, in some other instances he has blue arm joints, taken from his legs. It's probably just that.

The reason why Baldi's voice has gotten deeper may be because Mystman has actually grown up.
a Baldi ytber, after hearing the voice, mentioned that Mystman said he got a new microphone, so it might just be a change in mic quality

The blue pixel on Baldi actually originates from a modeling mistake mystman12 made when finalizing baldi’s design from his shirt being blue to green, he forgot do it for one of the shoulders

Baldi's voice has definitely changed but in all honesty, if you compare some of Principal of the Thing's newer lines and his older ones, it'd be the same thing
So what I've instantly discovered, the tutorial hide and seek is the ACTUAL hide and seek, but since this is a horror game, hide and seek is supposed to be "scary" when playing normally (even though it's not scary at all). That's why he is moving instead of slapping his ruler. He's hiding it at first so that the player keeps playing

Another thing about baldi's tutorial model, it looks less pixelated/higher resolution which could be the reason you dont see the red dots on his face in the original.

i’m pretty sure the voice just sounds different because it’s a newly recorded line, he prob has a better mic and stuff
You should definitely focus more on the lack of a ruler. Remember, Baldi's Basics is meant to be an edutainment game hiding something beneath the surface. With the tutorial, we know Baldi is supposed to chase the player around in a fun game of tag, gliding around the room. But the Baldi we're used to is ENTIRELY DEFINED by his ruler slapping movements. Like you said, he never does ANYTHING without the ruler.
Another detail is that when Baldi announces the events on the TV screen, he usually brings out a funny quip or a little complaint. But when he breaks his ruler, he just lets out a scream that sounds more like a screwy buzzing sound. The Baldi in the tutorial is what's SUPPOSED to be chasing after us, the one with the ruler is what we're stuck with. Especially considering how in the Classic version, Baldi only brought out the ruler when we made him mad. "Ruler Baldi" now comes after us with little to no prompting in Plus. "Ruler Baldi" is not supposed to be here, everything associated with him and the ruler is coupled with buzzy glitching sounds.
I wonder if this has something to do with Badsum or Null if he exists in this version

That blue patch is there because baldi used to wear a blue shirt, they forgot to retexture that elbow when they changed the design.

Im pretty sure the creator lost the original model used for the classic sprites. So every old sprite still has the whote speck and the differently placed eyebrlws. Newer sprites (like the ones ssed in the tutorial) use the newer model. Also! Those aren't freckles, its just the low quality and image effect that make it appear that way, just shading!

I have a theory, 17:35 here I think badsum is wearing a green shirt and its slightly ripped so his real clothing shows. But remember, its just a theory, A GAME THEORY. Edit:baldi maybe has a white pixel cuz thats his actual body.
the models elbow color legit changes a lot its pretty common to see mostly for people like me because of modeleing. its actually been like this for a while with the grey and blue change, in fact if you look at the sprites for the camping or farm you can see that both have different elbow colors! farm has a blue and the camp has a grey.

i think your just crazy with the theory thing. it's just a new model so that baldi can actually lip-sync and look a little better (because, lets be honest, the original sprite doesn't look too good). the blue speck can just be written off as a rendering or texturing error and he could've just been sick or something when recording the lines (edit: i heard a better youtuber say mystman got a new mic, so it's probably that). plus, it couldn't be badsum anyways, baldi still has that one strand of hair

The stray pixels are definitely just some dithering issues with how mystman did it
And as for the voice, voice actors tend to have this issue because of, well.. getting older

Hate to ruin the fun but I'm pretty sure the reason for the differences is that they made custom expressions for the tutorial version of baldi and these dots blue parts are most likely artifacts caused by something like posterization for example. So yeah, just a custom sprite with some artifacts and most likely not a secret

From I’ve seen, Mystman uses 2 different sprites for baldi, one has a blue elbow while the other has just a grey elbow, it’s most likely just a color that Mystman missed when remaking Baldi’s model. And also, Johhny has said the name of ytps before, “come back when you have more you thought points!” Also, Baldis waving model or animation was used all the way from Baldis basics classic to plus, and Baldis basics classic remastered

it actually is in fact still baldi. ive had a look at his actual 3d model, and his left elbow is just... blue... for some reason (white in the older versions of the model) ...dont have much more to say but, hope this helps somehow...

baldi has the same model the entire time but with different angles, the odd pixels on his sprites are caused because of gimp's dithering which screws up the colors around the images not trasparent parts (or because theres a sphere between lower arm and upper arm to make it not look weird ingame). BadSum is actually baldi, just one of the first versions of him (in mystmans old warioware games baldi had a blue shirt). so please stop going insane 😭
Ok so the reason baldi has spots on his face is probably due to the process of dithering which is common in this game its where you scale down an image limiting pixels and poxels tahts what gives it a pixelated look which is why its more pronounced, if you search up an undithered render of baldi it will look much more smoother and cleaner
The reason it uses a different baldi sprite in the new part is probably due to the original baldi model being lost so mystman made a new model (thats the same model thats been used for other stuff like the end screen too)
The blue part has actually always been on baldi its just not always visible in the old games there's a few theories for it the first one is that before baldis basics released baldi had a blue shirt which is true i think thats why its there in the classic version as for the new version another theory is that baldis base is blue and thats his pants and its just a miscalculation or it's simply jsut an error
no, the baldi in the tutorial is not a faker, because his elbow is green when he does his counting animation, what I believe is that he can shapeshift

the blue pixel is actually baldi's elbow, a visual error, really. most likely coloured incorrectly on his model
edit: the dots on his face is also just what happens during dithering process, as his sprites are actually rendered with a dithering effect on it to make it look pixelated, sometimes the colours may "bleed" and weird little dots like that can show up. yes mike, you're pretty much overthinking this ;-;
edit 2: mystman reused the slap and wave sprites because he already had them ready to go and the model changes weren't made at the time. he most likely didnt change the sprites now because they're "iconic" i guess
edit 3: his voice has changed, yes. if you were to replay the original ORIGINAL game you would hear a big difference. this is simply because mystman's baldi voice has changed. for what reason? prob because he liked the changes

The elbow part of the baldi model is blue, he probably forgot to change that part since some of the other comments say that it was originaly spossed to be blue instead of green

well the different baldi is because they made a new render. and the voice is probably just mystman's vocal range getting deeper.
I think the developer made new sprites because Baldi speaks falling into the rhythm of the sound.

In the 99 secret, it was talking about the Baldi we knew as “Badsum” to appear face to face with 99 in Baldi’s Basic T- and it cuts off. Wat if the tutorial Baldi is “Badsum” and we are 99

Edit: I watched the video a little further and saw the blue elbow joint thing you saw, that’s because mystman12 likes to model Baldi’s elbows different colors for some odd reason, sometimes they’re green blue or white. Also baldi has no freckles, he never had freckles also the voice is just because mystman12 likes changing Baldi’s voice and he might change all the voices of baldi when plus is fully released.
The Voice lines from Baldi‘s basics classic remastered are normal. I see no difference. And also the Baldi‘s basics and education and learning classic voice lines still normal but the tutorial voice in the tutorial of Baldi’s basic plus is very different. I noticed that.
