      Hi! I also love this synth. It's the Loom II www.airmusictech.com/virtual-instruments/loom-ii.html - If you're recording 3rd party virtual instruments at different tunings (like 432Hz) double check your pitch to ensure accuracy. ruclips.net/video/XuzdHzPB7zs/видео.htmlsi=OgMfWb_Y0-Pvp8lO

    If you alter the frequency after won't it effect the frequency you made for example if it's 7.5 in the binaural beat and you slow the master down to 432 won't that change everything?

      @@MichaelMcCabeGuitarist Rather than using the round dial, you can double click the numbers directly above it. That will make the numbers editable to enter the frequencies you wish. You can have one oscillator at 90Hz and the other at 91Hz, for example.

    Hi how do I make these different frequencies with the test oscillator. How do you know which is which tuning I was looking at 396 as i've been listening to that lately and wanted to try my own, just i'm not sure what i'm doing, thanks

    • @LadyAudioPodcast
      @LadyAudioPodcast  2 года назад

      Sounds like what you're trying to do is just play 396Hz. This can be done with just one test oscillator; all you'll need to do is move the frequency dial. It's not a very pleasant sound that way, though! (At least not to me.) 396Hz is approximately G4 on a piano keyboard... just above middle C. Try tuning your Logic Pro X to A=444Hz. Then play the G note on your keyboard just above middle C, and you'll get 396Hz. Use this chart: pages.mtu.edu/~suits/notefreq444.html and the instructions at 5:09 in the video to set things up. Use equal temperament to ensure your intervals will match the chart. Hope this helps!

    no one noticed that theta waves are supposed to be within lower frequency range? 4-8Hz... or am I missing something

    • @LadyAudioPodcast
      @LadyAudioPodcast  Год назад

      Yes, that is correct! However, 4-8Hz is not audible. In order to "hear" it, this binaural beat technique serves as a solution.

    • @dugovicmilan
      @dugovicmilan Год назад

      @@LadyAudioPodcast it is not audible, but our brain is able to process that... and there are headphones capable of playing such frequencies

    • @EricPeelMusic
      @EricPeelMusic Год назад

      Your ears cannot hear 8Hz so there’s no use in listening to it, with any headphones. It would be like listening to someone blowing on your ears so softly that you could not even feel it, 8 times per second. Better to have something tactile like a vibrating device. And binaural beats don’t actually do anything to affect brainwaves. There’s no scientific correlation between binaural beats and brainwave response, anyway.

    If i do 525hz and 531hz will i be listening to 528hz in theta?

    • @LadyAudioPodcast
      @LadyAudioPodcast  11 месяцев назад +1

      Good question! If you subtract 531 from 525 then it gives a beat of 6Hz. You're technically listening to both 531 and 525 together. One in each ear when they're panned left and right. The beat that you hear is a simulation of what 6Hz would sound like if we could actually hear it with human hearing. Hope this helps! It's a fascinating subject.

      Oh wow ok thank you 💕 If you can please share a good source where we could learn more 🙏🏽

  • @EricPeelMusic

    Binaural beats don’t actually do anything. It’s all placebo. People tend to try binaural beats for sleep or sexual arousal during a time and situation they usually do those things (in bed, at night, in the dark), and the suggestion of what the sound is supposed to do is what really causes the “response”. Its a hypnotic effect that can be achieved just as easily with any form of meditation and hypnotic suggestions. There’s nothing special or scientific about any sound frequency or binaural beat frequency. In other words, A440 is just as good as A432, if not better, since the bass frequencies will be a bit more easily heard on small speakers.

    • @LadyAudioPodcast
      @LadyAudioPodcast  Год назад +2

      Hi, great thoughts! I am not a master of binaural beats and how they work, but I did read up on it a bit before creating my video. I like to experiment with these things to try to understand them. There is a lot of scientific research on sound frequencies and their effects... I mean, because otherwise we wouldn't have sonic weapons that can incapacitate us. However, I can understand about A440 and A432 not being better than one another, they're just different. I think truly understanding these numbers would require research into how Hz is actually charted... that's a huge topic! On a super basic level, it's true that we do have a lot of water in us as human beings, and sound does move water quite easily. However, the science behind what the resulting effects are is such a fascinating subject. Thanks for bringing up a great topic!

    • @EricPeelMusic
      @EricPeelMusic Год назад

      Sound-based weapons rely on increasing the amplitude (volume level) of the sound so high that it physically damages hearing or organs. But if the military sent a signal at 2,003Hz instead of 2,000Hz, for example, it won’t cause more or less damage damage to the body because of some resonance phenomenon or sound crystals in the earth or spiritual frequencies or any other unscientific reason. The brainwaves are not directly affected by specific audio frequencies or binaural beats. Any frequency can be deadly if the amplitude is high enough and it has nothing to do with brainwaves. Earthquakes are technically sound frequencies and they obviously can be very deadly. But only if the amplitude is high enough.

    • @LadyAudioPodcast
      @LadyAudioPodcast  Год назад +2

      @@EricPeelMusic So, do you think If brainwaves are not directly affected by specific audio frequencies, perhaps they are indirectly affected? Sometimes it seems like some frequencies feel better... or some temperaments with certain keys. But then we can get into another subject of resonances along with their harmonics. And besides brainwaves, what about frequencies affecting our physical bodies? I mean, of course sound affects us, just like minor versus major, dissonance and harmony.

    • @TDiamond777
      @TDiamond777 Год назад +3

      there's actually been studies done on this and certain frequencies do have the ability to effect the brain differently!
