This gentleman knows his history well. This is very informative and he speaks very well.
My background is Ghanaian from Ghana. In Northern region we have a place called Akrapong where my grandfather came from. Also we have people with surnames of Frimpong, Acheapong and so on.. I see Jamaicans who resemble us so much and yet deny themselves because of lack of knowledge.
Not all of us my sister a lot of us see our selves as west African mostly ghanian.
Not all of us. Many of us know we come from African, Ghana, Congo, Ethiopia etc. We just don't go to social media as much as others who talk about denying their heritage. However, things are changing.
You are so wrong. We Jamaican embraced Ghana as our true relative more than any other African country. We call ourselves ashanti
Ghana is a place that was MADE by treaty and agreement, it was people who came from the AMERICAS which is really called MOROCCO, we brown skin people are from all over the place but the natives to the americas are the actual americas, ARAWAKS are the JAMAICANS the TAINOS are the JAMAICANS we're NOT africans but we still have treaty with our brothers and sisters all over the world!!!!
@@ocdraridrogonelyou won't find this story in no history book of 10, 20, or 30 year's ago, cause this story is made up.even Mr Vegas will tell you the samething.

Lower the music or eliminate it .. we only need to listen to the speakers voice of information and knowledge what he’s saying is knowledgeable and interesting remove the annoying music we want to listen to to he history of Jamaica 🇯🇲 he’s teaching we Jamaicans needs this information

This history is bogus
Wish I could have visisted this year.
I thought Accompong was Nanny brother.
No you think trelawany st.elizabeth was cudjoe territory
Can I go there on a Sunday with my family for the tour
How can I visit the country?
How are the persons I need to contact
The gentleman mentioned something I heard for the first time. I always have heard Accompong was Nanny's brother but he mentioned he was her husband? I been to the Accompong Town museum and do not recall that being stated either. Is this an oversight in written history?
Maybe if you could get a hold other book entitled , "The History of Jamaica " ,it may give you more clarity about he Maroons. There is another book you should try to get . "The White Witch of Rose Hall "(Anne Palmer) she was a slave owner too,
