Wouldn't blame ya. If the objectively worst ship in the multiverse somehow managed to get THERE of all places, it leaves only two explanations. One: they have luck so improbable, that reality itself bends it back backwards to give them the best possible things. Or they are the shining example of the phrase "The strong survive."
i mean you: literally always come back despite how many times your ship is destroyed can pilot any ship you get your hands on no matter how complex or simple can somehow destroy ships that are far better than yours i'd say you probably are
in my opinion, sylvan prime is not the most difficult opponent. It is rather arranged according to the principle of "either everything or nothing" and the most powerful enemy is the guard of the nexux portal. Would you like to try to fight with him?
I did :D i uploaded the video at the same time as this one, and I think sylvan prime was only a little bit harder but youre right the secretary is far above any other ship in terms of difficulty. All other sylvans were easy in comparison
This comment and this video scare me. And I thought that the flagship's phase 3 power surge attack thing was a lot of lasers, the horrors of what I saw today say otherwise. I've gotta play multiverse though, absolute no-brainer.
@@timecubedFinaaaaallly beat Sylvan prime on my 4th or 5th attempt. Terryisop did a guide which clued me into the fact that if you can cloak and hack his main weapons can never touch you. Took the obelisk A and got his ass at long last
Hi! I'm wondering whether there is a way to get to the Nexus ending (defeating Sylvan, Secretary and Prime) without hacking (I have cloaking, mind control, and drone control)? I'm playing Osmian B on a pretty good run (got obsidian missile, for one), and got lucky with sale+guild seed. Should I go for it or do it on another run with hacking?
Id say definitely go for it. It should be a lot of fun even if you cant make it. On my own first regular nexus run i didnt have cloaking and still made it :D you can definitely do without hacking
On easy/normal, however I was looking at doing another run on hard/extreme as it seems possible however the grind for the guild+sale seed is holding me back :D
Im not sure how long nexus/sylvan prime has been in multiverse, but there is updates. Id recommend joining their discord and checking out releases channel to see if youre up to date ^^
Hey, that is correct, this is the multiverse mod which is created by many talented people together. Music, art, balancing, updates... It's an amazing passion project. A quick google should get you on your way if you are interested.
@@Zephode yes, this time, he's a lot more diverse, i think the most worrying thing about him are his new TWO "arbiter" artilleries, which are 7 damage pinpoints, but has a weird case with shields, 7 damage with no shields, 3 damage with one, 2 damage with two, 1 with 3, and none with 4, which means you're gonna die in just 2 volleys from each of them (with the limit 4, of course)
@@mogbob7336 interesting, if they are the last weapons in priority list i could maybe disable them like the bombs here, if not then maybe some cheeky anti hull damage augment or another strategy alltogether that ive been wanting to try on old sylvan too.. Ill see when I have time to get around to it :D
He's got multiple 4 damage pinpoint artilleries with -3 shield pierce, so without 4 shield bubbles it seems borderline impossible, given you can no longer use hacking + cloaking to reliably shut down all of his offense. His burst laser guns also have guaranteed pierce so Obsidian armor does not negate any damage. It might be possible with Lvl 4 teleporter reconstructive cheese if it's obtainable on this ship, but I'd guess it's probably not.
@@arandomperson12345 probably possible with some hull repair drones and getting sylvrick as he can teleport to the whole ship and fix broken systems hit by the artillery

Not really the worst ship. Limit 4 at least has decent system limits unlike limit 3 where you literally can't have shit beyond lv2

Sorry make that 7 damage Pinpoints with 4,2,1,0 damage for each additional shield layer. You'd basically be dead in 2 volleys...
