@ But if that’s the case, wouldn’t THEY be the villains, not Galactus? I imagine with the MCU, Galactus will be a reimagined. In the comics, Galactus is a mortal who is given the powers of a celestial and is can’t handle it, leading him to need to eat planets indefinitely to temporarily alleviate his insatiable appetite. But in the MCU they seem to make all of their big villains sympathetic, so I imagine Galactus will instead have cosmic purpose in destroying planets triggering incursions before they destroy the entire universe. If that’s the case, The Fantastic Four would have personal in this world but by defeating Galactus, they cause the death of their entire reality. Galactus would be the hero, the FF would be the villain. I mean I guess it’s a similar moral dilemma of what Miles did in ATSV. But from a cynical standpoint if it’s not their home reality, Galactus has more right to want to destroy earth than the FF do to stay on this world that isn’t there’s and continue to put it at risk. Although, the theory does have promise! What I could see (pivoting off your theory) is maybe Franklin is the traveler. The synopsis for FF says it gets personal and everyone seems to be thinking that has something to do with Franklin. So what if the Fantastic Four are from this 60’s universe natively, but Sue gave birth to Franklin on another universe or in the Quantum Realm or Negative Zone. That ties Franklin to that reality. Galactus comes to eat the planet or at the very least Franklin and that’s the personal part. That I would LOVE!
