R14 = Index Controller's Right Trigger) and from the looks of the UI it only seems to designate one keymap per keyboard key trigger set. it would be an amazing feature of OpenVR2Key if it was added though, that would open up a whole new realm of possibilities for VR users!
What if I wanted to press a combination of buttons to open the Pause\Options menu in RE2? Currently, no button on the controllers is bound to P, but I don't want a single button to be mapped to it.

you should just be able to select the key binds inside of OpenVR2Key that are causing the key activation to happen in the first place, and then select the "Clear" button on the key bind. ^^
i use it to adjust spotify volume when i am in vr, it is super hard to drag that little slider with controller but i need more tips how to use combo key inputs to do this, you do not want to just use a single button to use it, since the game will act on it too !!! so instead of a single A button, you want grip+trigger+A kinda thing to fully make sure it is what you need not the normal function in the game with A button. but my problem is , since there are so few buttons on the controller, it runs out of combos quick without getting way too complex. need tips on this !!!!!!!
apologies for the late response! the unfortunate reality of the situation is that unless you are playing a virtual reality game where you have the ability to unbind controls without it affecting the gameplay too harshly, it's extremely difficult to have advanced key bindings with OpenVR2Key. like you said, when you use single button commands, the game you are playing will act on it too; but OpenVR2Key will only be as effective as the amount of key combinations you are able to perform without messing your games up. i also don't know too much about any Spotify plugins when it comes to vr, so if you are able to find out anything, i'd love to hear what you can do with OpenVR2Key!
The problem is When i run another VR application, for SCULPTING 3D , then Vr2key somehow change controller profile, and my steam vr custom controller profile dosnt work anymore. Looks like this 3D Sculpting application is higher on Hierarchy than Vr2key , any idea how to bypass it? thanks.
from my own experiences, a lot of vr software and vr games will lock out controller profiles based on the preset button combinations. what i mean by this is; say for example you are trying to override your A button in whichever game or software you are using, typically it might not work because the default controller profile """for your game/software, not OpenVR2Key's controller profile""" might have an input setup that, in reality, does nothing, but needs to be removed from the controller profile in order for OpenVR2Key to utilize it. that's just some my experience anyways, hehe. it just sounds like an instance of circumstance, and sometimes playing around to see what happens is the best medicine.
unfortunately OpenVR2Key is built to trigger individual keyboard keys / keyboard key combinations and i'm not sure that you can fully control your mouse with the software. if you're looking for a software that can control your mouse with vr controllers, there is OVR Toolkit that allows you to control your desktop while you have your vr headset on, but i'm not sure if that is what you are looking for.
Is there a way to configure two buttons activating the hotkey? For example, I want to click both of my joysticks at the same time for it to activate a key bind.
Is there anyway to have it be togglable on and off? I only want to use it for one application but it seems to be on for every game I launch and that’s causing some issues with some BR games I have that take both index input and keyboard input at the same time

it doesn't work and I contacted the owner, he too doesn't know what's wrong so I wasted a whole week of my precious whole life trying to do this that I will never get back
ah, that's just Windows Defender acting up. it's designed to protect against smaller and unknown .exe files, so when you try to open it, it'll try to prevent it from running. whenever the "Windows Protected Your PC" message pops up, you can hit the underlined "More info" text which will allow you to bypass it. you could also go into your Windows Defender settings and disable it but that wouldn't be necessary and not safe for that matter.
I had that same issue too for more detail. I was on oculus and whenever I took off the heads up, it said blocked but when I put it on it said unblocked, but when I clicked a controller button, it didn’t say what button I clicked.
@@cmbined1395 unfortunately OpenVR2Key is designed to work for SteamVR, not the meta app alone. you can still connect your meta headset to your computer of course, but it has to be ran through SteamVR to work.
sorry, but do you know why sometimes OpenVR2Key will let me bind one key, then crash, and also, do you know if it is possible to save keymaps, so i don't have to rebind them again? great tutorial btw! :D
thank you! unfortunately i don't think it's possible for users to save keymaps in OpenVR2Key, i really wish it was though. as for the crashing, i'm not sure? i haven't really experienced crashing problems with the software... do you think you could have a bad installation of the software?

It says binding keys are unblocked.... theres no VR menu up in the VR headset and nothing is registering....followed these steps precisely to a T.
