Western Maryland Morning

As the sun rises on a clear October morning, Western Maryland 2-8-0 #734 leads a local freight west from Cumberland bound for Frostburg. The train passes by Helmstetters' Farm on it's way through the Allegheny mountains.
Notes: WMSR #734 is the former Lake Superior & Ishpeming #34. The caboose is the newly refurbished Richard E. Markle caboose, dedicated to the longtime WMSR and B&O conductor. Filmed with my new Canon HF-G10.
