I’ve never been a fan of changing powers for live action. If you can’t do it in a way that looks good, don’t use the character.

I kinda agree with you in some sense, it's aggravating that that they don't follow the comics very well, but in Ms. Marvel's case this might be a welcome change, I didn't care for her being a knockoff Reed Richards in the comics so if she has a more diverse power set that isn't just wholesale another heros powers I might enjoy this, but we'll see when it comes out
