Robo Tronics I would break it up with 4 on the left and then 9 + 0.4 on the top. Then go through the same process. 4 x 9 = 36, 4 x 0.4 = 1.6, then 36 + 1.6 = 37.6.

I am helping my 11-year-old granddaughter do her homework and I am just sitting here shaking my head, thinking this is absolutely ridiculous! Who in the world changed Math to this baloney? I personally think we need to get back to the old way of doing things! Math included! I come from the "Old" school and things were so much simpler back then! I feel so sorry for my grandchildren and their generation! God bless them!
