Gloryhammer have proved to me that: it dosent matter how cheesy somting is, Once you shout it out pasion over a epic gitar play it will sound cool. much love to this band.
I looked Auchtermuchty up on street view... It's horrible, only things left standing are a few old houses and a cow shed. Curse you Lord Proletheus and your Knights of Evil! Dundee never forgets!! IN HOOTS WE TRUST
My discovery of Gloryhammer, and the release of D&D 5e Spelljammer within the same month cannot be a coincidence. If I don't get a bard yelling this while a wizard rides into battle on a giant space hamster belting Universe On Fire, I may be slightly disappointed.
I still haven't decided if the fact that all the places named here are real places in Scotland makes the band's lore more ridiculous, or more awesome. Like, I'm trying to imagine it set in a different place. "Angus del Carretto, prince of the Land of Savona" "We're the masters of the galaxy, we're the lords of Space Millesimo!" "Dispatch your knights of evil to slaughter more peasants in Pallare!" "Death Knights of Altare, to battle!" Fuck it sounds amazing
The Who: "We made the greatest rock opera ever!" Tobias Sammet: "I wrote the greatest Metal Opera of All Time!" Christopher Bowes: "Hold my ale, my hammer, and my space submarine."
How would you hold a space submarine? I'd imagine that there's a few people who can hold it up, like the Hootsman and Angus, but still. It's not even a space submarine either! It's just a submarine that flies! After all, this song and the others in this album are set 1000 years in the past. Dundee hasn't started ruling the galaxy yet.

There's a few of them which I'm still working on, like Fate/Stay Night, but for the most part, I'm used to this. Granted, most of it is full of hypotheses and theories yet to be proven, but the point still stands. Besides, there's a sense of satisfaction in breaking apart fandoms founded upon magic and such. The satisfaction of finally cracking a puzzle you've discovered.
I'm running a DnD campaign for some friends using Gloryhammer as the backdrop. We're still in album 1 but I'm planning so far ahead, and I swear, when it comes time to introduce the Death Knights, I'm just going to quote this song word for word. Great video! The chorus has such a 70s/80s ring to it - I love it. Definitely a stand out song on the album. Well done Gloryhammer; well done Napalm.
Just imagine the Knights of Crail performing dance choreography during the song.
I KNEW I WASNT THE ONLY ONE WHO IMAGINED THEM DOING THAT!
In fact I also imagine that that get bummed out when xargotthrax makes them kill an entire village but when there done and are allowed to go back to dance choreography they get excited again
so the Ginyu force?
FOR THE EMPEROR oh not this pardon....mgh FOR THE SPACE DUNDEE!!!
Gloryhammer have proved to me that: it dosent matter how cheesy somting is, Once you shout it out pasion over a epic gitar play it will sound cool.
much love to this band.
"Antitellharsic" is a kind of algebra. Proleteus' evil magic comes from knowing advanced mathematics.
Average person: "Infinity War was the most ambitous crossover."
Me, an intellectual: "PowerWolf and Gloryhammer universe crossover."
Add Victorius and Twilight Force to that mix!
And ghost
They actually toured together last year.
@@Deus0tiosus who toured together?
And sabaton and rapsody of fire and dragonforce
That video looks like Kung Fury's gonna surf time in the background... fantastic song, one of my favorites from an amazing album!
You're about to hack time! Are you sure?
YES| NO
That explains the laser raptor.
If I ever see Gloryhammer live and they play this, I'm going to stand there with a sign saying PEASANT LIVES MATTER
love listening to gloryhammer while painting warhammer
3:18 - 3:31 is the best damn solo ive ever heard in my life. i wish it was longer
Wow ! Power Metal Retro Synth Waver... I wasn't ready for that but god ! This is so cool !
As a fantasy/science fiction writer these songs give me such inspiration
Anyone else giggle when Proletius orders "Deathknights of Crail! To battle!!" ?
Was hoping to see art of the Galaxy knights or deathknights of crail, only goblins/orks unfortunately.
the orks are the deathknights of Crail I think
@@DaPsychocat they are
@@DaPsychocat they are really poorly equiped for "knights", and no eagles
I think the orks should be wearing space suits
i highly encourage you and anyone else who agrees to illustrate what you think that the deathknights of crail should look like :3
I looked Auchtermuchty up on street view... It's horrible, only things left standing are a few old houses and a cow shed. Curse you Lord Proletheus and your Knights of Evil! Dundee never forgets!!
IN HOOTS WE TRUST
Sabaton: Masters of the world
Gloryhammer:
Seriously, we need a mashup of both Songs!
Mangus McSixth: Master of the Universe
A definite stand out on the album. I was singing this one for days.
All I know for sure is that this was one hell of Table Top Role Playing game they were in and mad props to all the players and the GM!
This new album is the bomb
I'm going too!!! London!!!
@@Angus-McFife-2nd Me too! It'll be epic
@@Grizzly01 princess of wales pub just across the road! Pre gig drinks
@@Angus-McFife-2nd Looks like a good boozer
@@Grizzly01 Yep, nice and easy before the gig. I used to work there once upon a time lol
My discovery of Gloryhammer, and the release of D&D 5e Spelljammer within the same month cannot be a coincidence. If I don't get a bard yelling this while a wizard rides into battle on a giant space hamster belting Universe On Fire, I may be slightly disappointed.
You: Guardians of The Galaxy
I, an intellectual: Masters Of The Galaxy
I still haven't decided if the fact that all the places named here are real places in Scotland makes the band's lore more ridiculous, or more awesome.
Like, I'm trying to imagine it set in a different place.
"Angus del Carretto, prince of the Land of Savona"
"We're the masters of the galaxy, we're the lords of Space Millesimo!"
"Dispatch your knights of evil to slaughter more peasants in Pallare!"
"Death Knights of Altare, to battle!"
Fuck it sounds amazing
Guardians of the galaxy needs to see this asap
One of my favorite songs on the album so glad it got one of these napalm record lyric videos!!
This HAS to be in the next guardians of the galaxy movie
The Who: "We made the greatest rock opera ever!"
Tobias Sammet: "I wrote the greatest Metal Opera of All Time!"
Christopher Bowes: "Hold my ale, my hammer, and my space submarine."
+Unnoticed "Long ago, in the distant future." - Actual lyric from this song. The moral here? NEVER try to make Gloryhammer fit in with any kind of logic. That ruins all the wacky fun! 🖖😎🍺
@@MDMetal
Eh.
I'm one of the lore fanatics who dissects everything apart of it, and tries to apply it to modern science for fun.
My idea of fun, but hey, you do you.
+Unnoticed "Down that path, madness lies." I empathize. I tried that with Gloryhammer too, but then I had to quit smoking again. Then I embraced the epic chaotic cheese that Christopher Bowes has given us, and I feel much better for it. I suggest you do the same, if only for your own sanity. 🖖😎🍺
@@MDMetal
You think I've only tried it with Gloryhammer?
Nah. I've done it to every fantasy thing you can think of.
I've done anime, I've done novels, and I've done songs and fantasy bands like Gloryhammer.
Most of which I've done successfully.
I love how this song proves that there's not only regular Dundee but that there's also SPACE Dundee 😂😂😂
Saw them live last night. If you're a fan of this band, you owe it to yourself to see Gloryhammer play live. The onstage energy is infectious.
Certainly can't argue with that. I've seen them 3 times, London in October will be 4. Can't wait.
It gets better and better for each song they release.
[insert drake meme no] Avengers
[insert drake meme yes] Hootsforce
Yes, my friend, this is the law of Sex.
Just insert memes
everyone needs some GLORYHAMMER everyday
I'm running a DnD campaign for some friends using Gloryhammer as the backdrop. We're still in album 1 but I'm planning so far ahead, and I swear, when it comes time to introduce the Death Knights, I'm just going to quote this song word for word. And I will probably be unable to stop myself from falling into the cadence and actually singing it.
Now Angus Mcfife has become Angus McSix and has become the Master of the Universe!
I do wonder what happened to the first 4 Angus's.
I can't be the only one. One, Two, Three, Four, Fife, SIX.
After this long, they should have two-handed on 100 legendary. Not joking.
Kinda took an arrow to the knee at the end of the album though... ;)
Zargothrax will be the name of my firstborn
I can't wait for the Zargotrax + !Evil Angus vs all the other hood guys album
I want this to become a legitimate show
This is just the chaos factions of Warhammer
Something about this band make me feel good. :)
I was hoping for a Lyric Video of The Land of Unicorns but... I'm not even mad, that's still amazing! :D
Master of the Galaxy? Puh...
Now theres the Master of the Universe!
Bought the album to play in my car, I love it and my sister and cousins love it. Best for the 30 min commute to work. 8/10!!!
Their songs would make for a great game/movie series. Not joking.
There's a least a trilogy in there one per album and with the origin stories a whole extended universe to explore
@@mrenglishjawa and it should have gameplay somewhat similar to Final Fantasy XV
edit: maybe with a bit of overlord
I love the random evil laugh in the middle. I also like the fact that the way I've always spelled that "laugh" matches the one sponsored by our great Lord Zalgothrax.
this band need turn a movie
An epic trilogy
I would rather 2D animated series.
You can do stuff Animated that is impossible in Live Action.
Though I would settle for a Graphic Novel.
This is definitely one of the stand out songs from the album. Just love it.
DAMN what is this 80s vibe? I love it!
I like how this song also works really well for chorus and the chaos space marines
Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 3 with Thor looks amazing.
When people have asked me "What is Gloryhammer?" I've joked that they are a band who shamelessly turn the dork up to 11 while playing powermetal...wait 2:45 They found a 12!
12 inch media: Okay so we searched for orcs. We found draenorian orcs from WoW,
greenskins from Warhammer and urukhai from LotR.
So which kind of orc do you want?
Gloryhammer: Yes.
By draenorian orcs do you mean Mag'Har orcs?
@@trebah662 i assume you stopped playing wow after TBC, cause Mag'Har is a clan of orcs, which is located in Draenor (or Outlands atm)
@@ColdBlazze yes, but you said "Draenorian orcs" which isn't a descriptor I've ever heard before. Would be like called humans "earthian humans", they are just humans even if some have been to the moon.
I was just wondering if you were confusing that with uncorrupted orcs, most likely Mag'Har or AU orcs.
@@ColdBlazze also I would point out that the Mag'Har aren't a single clan.
@@trebah662 well, there are orcs that originate from Draenor, but there are also orcs that are born raised and native on earth. in basic biology a species which lives under new circumstances can be considered new species or at least sub species.
I absolutely love this music, it makes painting my wargaming miniatures so much more fulfilling!
40K in a nutshell: "long ago in the distant future" "we are the Masters of the galaxy"
Doat?
One of the best villain songs out there, I have never thought I would have ever wanted to be an evil space deathknight and take over a fictional space kingdom named after that 1 town in scotland, till this song bahaha.
Demons : we are the masters of the galaxy !
Doomslayer : hold my gun.
THIS IS WHAT I NEED TO BREAK FREE FROM THE CHAINS! TRULY GREAT!
