    Don’t buy this bag it clumps up and hard to re fluffy the bag evenly.Only 1 month return after 6months you will be disappointed. Save your money and go to rei you can return up to a year there .

      A bummer it didn’t work out well for you. It has been great for me so far. What bag are you using now instead?

      @@andycorrea00 I’m about to order the Western Mountaineering AlpinLite 20 Degree Sleeping Bag. I hung my hyke zero bag and fluffed it and it still seems 70 percent I was backpacking/camping this Saturday up 5280 elevation and my bag failed on me I had to roll up at 1am. I too trusted this bag to bring it up that high. It was about 25 degrees out .

      @@alaskanborn3459 nice, I’ve heard good things of that bag also. I appreciate you sharing your experience. Sorry to hear you went through that. Certainly not a fun position to be in. Stay safe out there!

    Thanks for sharing! I’m looking to get a 0 degree soon, but I want to make sure it packs down small enough to be useful for backpacking. This seems like a good option!

    Found you through your Eolus 0° sleeping bag video. I use the Eolus line too. Some people think H&B is trash but I like it. New subscriber here.

    I'm looking at that exact bag color and all lol. I wish they'd make more subdued and natural colors for those who like "stealth" camping, but a bicycle can fix that if needed. I've got their zion 2p tent and am impressed so far, which is why I'm looking st their bags now too.

    • @andycorrea00
      @andycorrea00  3 года назад

      The bag has been great. I'm with you on the loud colors. A plus of the light interior color is it's much easier to find items, or ticks, snakes, etc., haha. Happy camping out there!

      The coldest conditions I was in with it this past January on the AT was about 15 degrees. Worked great for me with 1 layer. For the money it's a great buy.

    Hey man, that's a great review... just subscribed! I appreciate the close-up shots; you really detailed the features nicely. I am very interested in your follow-up review, as I am looking to switch over from synthetic to down bags, and this is an affordable price. You made two comments that I made me quite curious... 1) You said that you're a side-sleeper, and 2) there's more down on the top baffles than the in the back. So I am wondering if your back will get cold when you roll over on your side (even after the featherloft back up) . Thanks for sharing your content.

      Thanks so much for checking out the video and subscribing! Just recently got a chance to test it out on the AT last month. It worked great for me. While I don't love mummy bags this bag is so comfortable and did a great job keeping me warm. Ended up having to take some layers off in my bag as I began to sweat. Great question about less fill on the back. You are right, your back will get cooler if you turn on your side and have your back still attached to the back of the bag. I actually ended up just turning in my bag so that my back was still insulated more. For reference I was using a Thermarest XTherm MAX which has a 6.9 R Value. If you are looking at purchasing a Hyke & Byke product be sure to let me know so I can get you a direct link. Happy camping!
