Can you share your study habits that gave you a good GPA. Also, can you make a video on your study habits in undergrad VS graduate school? What would you change and what would you reccomend to a Pre-Pa student?
What about volunteer hours? It seems like schools put a lot of emphasis on it and I hardly have any. What’s your opinion on that? For reference I have 6,000+ in patient care hours. Thanks for everything you do!
How exactly can I go about documenting the shadowing hours and patient care hours? Is there a form that your supervisor fills out and initial? How do the PA schools verify these hours?
hi, I am 16 years old. I am I'm interested in the PA profession. do you how I can start getting dpi hours? like do I need to get some sort of certificates or do I look for jobs that provide dpi hours? In my area, all the volunteering opportunities are paused bc of covid
Hey Adanna! So I understand you retook all these science courses. I just graduated from a 4 year university and they don’t let me retake my courses unless I failed them. Did you retake these classes at a community college? Do they count for PA school if there refine at a community college? I know GPA only changes on your transcript if there done at the university because community college only gives you credits when you pass a class, not really the grade.
160 shadow hours
1700 Patient care hours
Overall gpa 3.5
Science gpa 3.3
Gre 322
These are the stats ladies and gents

Yes I can!

I didn't put much thought into volunteering hours because the majority of the schools that I spoke to cared more about direct patient care hours.

Great video! For your classes, did you take them at a 4-year university or a community college?
The classes I retook were at a CC. I retook them as a postgrad

So I would suggest getting certified in something, like a CNA, or GNA, or med tech. Something along those lines.

How many times did you apply to pa school before you got in?
I applied twice before getting in because I didn't know what I was doing that's why it's important to do your research.
