Adenomatoid odontogenic tumor

Adenomatoid odontogenic tumor (AOT) is a benign tumor of odontogenic origin thought to arise from the remnants of dental lamina.
It was formerly called “adenoameloblastoma” since it was considered to be a variant of conventional ameloblastoma.
