For some reason, when I opened the back of my computer...THERE WAS NO FREAKIN' FAN, just some silver flat panel that covered the space for the fan...YET IT WAS WORKING. Additionally, I don't see a CMOS battery either...just the space for it. For some reason, I kept getting BIOS date/time messages periodically, when I booted up. I'd change the date/time and it would boot up but all-of-a-sudden...NOTHING. It seems like it's going to turn on, as the backlight of the power button illuminates for about 7 seconds, then it goes off. PLEASE HELP, because I can turn a computer inside out (build one) BUT this is puzzling me. I need to get back in my laptop (Toshiba Satellite C55-b???...looks exactly like this one in the inside) to retrieve important stuff.
