Damping,upgrading speakers everything is fine but it's not a good decision to change the electrical parts specially headlights,tail lights.
Let it remain as original.Whatever the shopkeeper says made in Russia,Germany etc,but deep down,all we know that they are made in china.And you should have installed seat covers and steering wheel cover of Topgear brand,it's premium and I recommend you to do a ppf soon,because scratch marks on black colour is visible generally.

Aozoom isn't a German brand. It's a home grown chinese brand that claims it to be from Germany! I agree that the light throw is good but just think how reliable these components are. As you got quite frequently to long trips at least go for real German brands like Osram! Remember headlights are the integral part of your vehicle.

Question - Thar has a left pulling issue, I can see in your video steering is tilt on right side. How big is this an issue for you ? Mahindras are known for such alignment issues.

Congratulations on the purchase of Thar n XUV 700.
I'am really surprised how much less dampening Mahindra provides in Thar. Whatever customizations you have done so far are purely aesthetic, but there are certain mods required to truely equip your Thar;
- Suspension kit to raise the height by 1.5-2" (you could consider this at a later stage after couple of road trips).
- Off-set rims to accomodate wider tyres. Bead-lock wheels are even better as they prevent tyres to come off rims during ultra low pressure (only recommended for extreme off-roading).
- You might want to invest in a good quality winch as it comes handy when getting stuck in snow. Warn is an American brand, ans is also the best.
- Your off-road recovery kit should include Tracks, recovery rope with shackles (either steel or nylon), dual cylinder air compressor and a tire pressure gauge.
- Heavy duty jump starter unit and a power generator that can be charged by solar panels ( this can be installed on the roof).
- the front bumper is pretty large and can hold a water tank inside it. You might be able to source a bumper later on with a water tank in it.
- Since trunk does not have space, you might want to install a roof rack with a ladder. And the same rack could be extended on either side of the car to fit jerry cans (to carry water or fuel).
The list is endless what you might want to do with it. I hope you have fun with it and explore more places which were not possible with your XUV 500.
