With heavy lights.. you can see everything but others can’t see you due to temporary blindness caused by these lights.. this is the problem with 8/10 Thars (10/10 Activa) running on road.. BE RESPONSIBLE!

I came across a channel (@DCV Expeditions) while watching your videos, he is a super knowledgeable person in respect to cars and travel, he is from Faridabad only....I don't think so anyone else on RUclips have explored his THAR this much on solo trips in Thar Desert or Ladakh in snow or in extreme conditions....just check his mods done on Thar with logical upgrades....what you have done is nice, but these are all out of excitement we understand...but if you want to keep this Car for Off-roading, camping, overlanding....you should watch or collaborate with him once on things he may suggest. I don't know him personally, but yeah a big fan of him and yours too ;) PEACE.

Completely agree with the comment here. Dilip Chahal is a very knowledgeable person when it comes to Thar and off-roading + solo trips. Mods on his Thar are well planned and for a purpose. He is also venturing into custom builds for adventure junkies as per his latest vlogs so should be worth watching and taking a cue from him.

These Hid lights are a safety hazards for other road users. It completely blinds the opposite person, not only that it also blind when coming from rear.
White light is a waste in fog conditions no matter how strong the intensity. Please don’t get fooled by people selling these items mentioning about how good the throw is. Also, I hope the LED headlamps are road legal as you don’t want to cause blindness to oncoming traffic.
Also, hope you have taken into factor the existing battery load + accessories load that you are putting extra to avoid any long term issues. Mahindra are notoriously known to provide weaker batteries which may fail with added load due to the amp and high power components. You may need to plonk in a higher AH battery.

Absolutely correct, you need a light with high wavelength to cut through fog or snow. White light will have least wavelength, always get yellow or amber. Higher wavelength would mean lower color temperature, hence lower refraction rate which would mean easier on your as well as oncoming traffic eyes and more reach.
Indian aftermarket shops don't know shit about simple engineering or physics, always have only OEM approved products installed in your vehicle for your and everyone's else's safety ✌️

Ideally avoid any after market modification till 10-11k or till second service, sometimes you get unknown issues with vehicle as they are tested but not relatively driven, n if service showroom see any changes they tend to blame customer even if it has nothing to do with customisation...

Even sometimes the warranty gets nullified because of after market modifications which includes electrical or wiring.

Yep white light is not effective in fog and rain. It will reduce the visibility significantly compared to halogen light

in my personal experience, White lights are a waste in Fog/ Snow conditions which you will be driving more. I have headlamps from the same company in my sedan and in rain, fog they are a total waste. I regret getting them. This is one of the reason I have not upgraded lights to white in my THAR.
True that I have the same setup in my XUV 500, for city driving it's great but on highway during fog or snow in mountain it's of no use

It's completely waste to install LEDs in reflector based head lamps. It's better to install higher wattage halogen bulbs 90/100watt with H4 relay wiring harness. Much much effective than LEDs. Secondly IPH projectors should be align in such a way that it spreads equally on the road and focus should be like that it covers that dark area between your front bumper to actual low beam lies of your car. There is no use of it didn't works like a fog lamps. Trust me in long overhaul journeys led lights are pain.
I have 2020 i20 sportz and I agree that LEDs are nothing but a waste in reflector headlights. 2 days ago I made this mistake and now I regret. Planning to put LEDs on the fog lamps too as I think it might improve overall brightness.

Floor lamination maast ! Anti rust for engine chamber and overall down body is also important where few suv owners follow intelligently 👍.. If possible do that as you're gonna fetch Off roading with mud slushes..... 😎🔥
