I’m glad that both Io and Europa exist. They’re like real-life examples of lava/ice worlds from video games and sci-fi stories.
Europa is an ocean world actually
@@dtxspeaks268well technically it’s both an ice and ocean world
Yeah Europa actually contains liquid water underneath its icy crust
There are pyramid ships there for sure.
@@dtxspeaks268Technically we can still live on it if we build floating cities or connect millions of cruise ships.
The hardest part of surviving on Io would probably be the daily dose of 36000 mSv of radiation (enough to kill you in just a few days)
Ah so what, just take a good shower
Doesn't help being in Jupiter's orbit. Jupiter has IMMENSE radiation that spans it's neighbouring moons.
@@JynxedKoma On Callisto you'd get 0.1 mSv/day of radiation which is 7x less than Mars, if humas were to visit a Galilean moon it would be Callisto
Hello everyone this is your daily dose of 36000 msv of radiation
Absolutely right. Much of the surface is free from volcanic activity. But.......
"There is no bottom"
Reaches the bottom.
Ok, you got me
As soon as you said we were jumping into a volcano, my first thought was, "Awww... I wanted to see the horrorscape that is the surface..." Not only did the dive exceed my wildest expectations of haunting beauty, but you brought us back up to see the rest. Thank you.
"You decided to jump into a volcano"
Because why wouldn't I?
I guess bathing in lava will really clean the suit, which might be neccessary after all these journeys
I? o!
Into a volcano
then yiff happily.
Godzilla 1984
"Could life develop in such an extreme environment?" What, at the bottom of a 100 km deep sea of molten rock? Yea that's light work.
Laugh out loud moment 😂
My first thought was that tardigrades might do just fine lmao
They would just need indestructible suits
There's a book hypothesizing a civ evolving on the surface of a neutron star.
So I'm up for anything.
The 100% obvious answer: No
Your videos is the best ASMR for me, I watch them every night before going to sleep and since I found your channel, my insomnia started to fade away. Thank you so much for such calm and beautiful videos😍
You're doing very important job by not only educating people but helping out ones who struggles with some problems☺️
Glad I can help❤️ Thank you!!
The distance between the gas planet moons always gets me
What's wrong?
Well, space in overwhelming majority is just that -- empty space. Actual objects are few and really far between.
3:55 its like when youre in a lava lake in the Nether with a fire resist potion
The Indestructible Suit gets a workout in Jupiter's radiation. Always reliable. 😅
Yay! Io is my favorite moon of my favorite planet! :D
"How about a dip in the endless rivers of lava?"
Me (staring at Io's aurora): Yes please. Also, I'm taking some rocks home with me.
Ah, now we need you to go through the asteroid belt as if it were an obstacle course
But this is not an obstacle course, but simply huge voids between pieces of stone and ice.
@@nedward.7442At such fast speeds distances between asteroids would not seem long.
The average distance between objects in the asteroid belt is 600,000 miles. For context, the diameter of the Earth is just under 8,000 miles.
Every thing is a obstacle course if you go fast enough.
@@lgjm5562 ding ding!
That was one of your best video, IMO.
Thank you, keep up the good work.
(that zoom effect was great)
Tysm! I will!
I'd been waiting for this one! Io is such a fascinating celestial body!
It absolutely is!
Io is so active that it will be colonized by gymbros.
Gainsville wil be the capital.
Summer enjoyers be like: 4:41 "Ahh finally this feels nice!"
Gorgeous work! The ol' indestructible suit really got a workout today!😂🔥🌋😎🙌
2:38 was horrifying, I loved it lol thank you for such great videos! Can't wait for the next one, as always :)
Napping on his way to diving into an active volcano on a moon of Jupiter is up there as one of the raddest things "Falling Into Places Doomguy" has done.
He needs some rest from time to time
Ah a nice warm lava bath at the end :)
WHAT DO YOU ME I DECIDED TO FALL INTO LAVA!?! THAT AIN'T ME
Bro choose godly music this time
Diving into the lava literally made me gasp. Thank you.
io is like mercury some parts are very cold🥶 and some are extremely hot 🥵
My man is so used to jump he really fell asleep while falling into an outerspace volcano
Love the music
If you wonder, the heat is generated by the tidal forces from the attraction of Jupiter.
The other moons (Ganymede and Europa) also pull on Io. They are locked in a 4:2:1 orbital resonance, in which Europa completes 1 orbit for every 2 orbits of Io, and Ganymede completes 1 orbit for every 4 of Io. This is how volcanism happens on Io.
Won't lie, an underground magma ocean sounds like a really cool location to explore in a video game.
but the question is... does our suit protect us agains the extreme temperatures?
The *suit* is indestructible. No comment on its wearer.
@@Vales55
Stargaze: ummmmm... wait a minute i check it... ah yeah... suit can't protect... oh... you're already dead...
I was just reading about Jupiter's moons and was thinking how rad it would be to see a new video from you about one!
This is what Doomguy dose in his spare time! People like to skydive, but Doomguy likes to planet dive!
“Could life develop in such an extreme environment?”
Orion’s arm: “Ah, yes, of course”
Someone: what are you up to this weekend?
Me: going to the Jupiters moon
What got me was the prompt: "oh by the way, you decided to jump into a volcano!" Like WTF!? Who in the right mind decides that!? Nah G, you pushed us and straight up, if I get out, F looking and and Sh#$, I'm B-lining to you on some Boba Fett ish. And it was a bottomless one too, nah, call me Babayaga, cuz imma John wick you when I get back on the ship! Lol
"oh and by the way, you decided to jump into a volcano today"
Not the weirdest thing we've jumped into on this channel.
Just an average day
it sure be awesome to fall into jupiter's night side in the auroara zone. see aurora while going down, see lightening flashing below you even before you enter the upper clouds. and later on see the heat glow when things get really hot.
We all need an indestructible suit in our lives.
I did not expect for the gas giants’ moons to be very interesting (other than Titan and Europa)
molten sulphur has a density of 2... so you wouldnt sink.
1:48 yeah I like you remembered about that
I like the courage flat to the ground isn't enough
Please, make a "Falling into a Exoplanet" next 🙏🙏🙏
I already made one of them(HD 189733b), will do more!
nicely done!!!
Thank you!!
3:00 'you tried to swim in lava' ahh moment
Stargaze: oh, and by the way, you decided to jump into volcano today
Me: Now that's a lot of fun!
Really spectacular............
9/10 nice weather. no drinks
Io is so awesome!!! Next up, falling into Triton. It will be like a sauna in Iceland!
When is Proxima Centauri B?
"Oh hey you decided to jump into a volcano today".
After jumping into the Sun, and a black hole, somehow entering a container of lava doesn't have the same bite.
4:46 You Underestimate My Power
Don't Try It.
Chops legs and arm*
Just be glad there's not a bald guy and a weird galaxy man there this time.
Wait, what? 😂
Lol imagine you are exploring Io when suddently Saitama and Garou land and start fightning, absolutely annihilating the moon in their battle
Taking in consideration you're using an indestructive suit, either they will end up launching you straight to outer space, or Saitama will notice you're human and drag you back to Earth
Serious table flip
Jumping to Earth's core please!
Great, upload 2160p if possible.
Geologically hyperactive volcano worlds are some of the most promising locations for the development of life. Earth also looked like this...billions of years ago.
Here’s a cool video idea: what constellations look like from different star systems that would definitely get a lot of views!!!
I’d survive that
It's amazing how different it is from Europa.
io does not have a magma ocen according to recent studies
This is where the fun begins
the music sounds, like it's trying it's hardest, not to play "the city must survive" esque music, you get to hear while playing frostpunk
_Churches were made from bones. And to let another find its place, whether dissipated from its original, shows the force of muscle._
All I know is that all them volcanoes look like spicy salsa dip so Io is officially the spicy salsa dip moon in my head canon.
Can you try falling into Ceres? It would be cool to see an object in the asteroid belt.
Goku: hey i heard you are strong with magma . Can i train on you ☠️
You should do a falling into OJ 287. It would be a trip
Earth also has lava oceans , if you wonder if there can be life there, it would be much easier to look on Earth first!
400???? Active????
Even if I had a suit like that, my mind would immediately tell me "nope."
4:12 oh I don’t know about you
I guess fish living beings can form inside a viscous molten rocks with SUPER HIGH temperatures, yeah that TOTALLY work probably
I like the video and the background music.
But you could team up with Liquify, his space trip music is one of a kind and would be perfect for your work.
Thanks for your work ❤
He didn't mention our indestructible suite, so... We were boiled by the volcano I guess
Feeling pretty serious
Let’s flip some tables
Can you fall into Haumea please?
I subscribed
Imagine the night time views of Jupiter while standing on this moon!
Man if these indestructible suits ever make it into mass production im getting one
Iooooo, Ioooooo, it's off to Io we go
Io: The planetary definition of bipolar disorder.
Can you make kepler 22b next if you can?
Siempre que veo tus videos me imagino la canción Orion de Metallica
I was half expecting to see Asuka in the lava
bro is travelling around the solar system to explore every planet and moon ☠
In the distance there is a Serious Table Flip.
Are we equipped with our trusty indestructible suit?!
Hmmmm, brand new video
Take a nap while falling into Io's volcano? Are you serious?!
I really want this to be a video game.
This doom guy never settles..😅😅😅
Not only does Io have volcanoes, but it also is filled with radiation.
Today I want fall into one of the Io's volcans.
Why?
Why not? :)
nice
So this isn't been shown in theatres, why?!
Make more falling to videos
This is where fire type pokemon come from.
Video of terraform io pls
Too bad you didn't have time to stop at the Con-Am 27 mining station. Somehow those miners have managed to extract more titanium ore than any of the other stations. Their production levels are beyond regular human ability!
Lucy can do this
I'd never decide to jump into volcano lol
How about Falling into a Magnetar?
Could you do 55 Cancri e?
Do fall into blanet exoplanet orbit blackhole
How does the magma not freeze if Io has a freezing surface temperature?
