I had the opportunity to train with some boxers in Lop Buri and I learned a lot about clinch technics. What else to say… I used one time the clinch technic in a street fight, as a self defender, and it worked perfectly. Very useful to avoid being punched while having control on the aggressor. Oops I also remember doing a flying knee on a guy who was taking his jacket on the floor, I was anticipating the draw of a knife or a gun, perfect, kop koun Muay Thaï. Cheers
I did watch a UFC fight with Rich Franklin ,who got his arm broke blocking a head kick. I used to be good at blocking with my elbows. Great Video

At my time, 1985 to 1990, Legs blocks was for low kicks when middle or high were blocked with arms as I loved catching and sweeping…
