Yes. USMC flies both the F-35B and F-35C, the only US service to fly 2 of the variants. They have already been flying off the boat in F-35Cs on deployment.

@@PasleyAviationPhotography I agree, and I've been noticing that the Carrier Break shows some more of its maneuverability, it feels snappier compared to the Minimum Radius Turn, the pilot elongates the turn when he pulls a 180, then as his nose comes toward the crowd hes turns tighter, so the pilot makes the turn into an oval shape turn instead of a circular turn, It can turn tight, they just don't show it
But the C also has good slow speed handling, with a little more stability in the larger wings, rudders and tails, and they both have the same top speed, but the F35A can reach it's top speed by maybe a few seconds compared to the C, The C has a slightly higher sustained turn rate but slower instantaneous turn rate, both have outstanding yaw rates, the C can carry 20,000 gallons of fuel compared to the 18,000 in the A, but, The A has an internal gun whereas the C needs a stealthy center line gun pod, but both have similar avionics and weapons capabilities, but the C has slightly a little more than the A, The C can carry AGM 154 JSOW( Joint Stand Off Weapon) whereas the A and B cant carry those, especially the B because it has the smallest weapon bays out of all the F35 Variants

I think it has a better pitch rate but bleeds energy faster

Yes? What is that unusual? They fly the F/A-18A+ and F/A-18C as well, just like other Naval units.
