She was almost 90 here and looked fantastic! Sharp as ever. What an incredible woman and awesome actress.
She was such a beauty and and big star. Jxxx
I have a notion to second that emotion !!
What a beauty. Then and now, My favorite moll.
Beautiful to see this lady!
One of my favorite actresses! Most of her early Fox films may have been "B" pictures, but she elevated them into "must-see" movies. Fantastic talent!
Claire Trevor is one of the greats from the "Golden Age." I believe the she was known as the "Queen" of film noir, and well deserved. She was beautiful and still is!! Thank you Claire Trevor for your contributions to film.
She was great in Stagecoach
Claire Trevor was an absolute gem.
She was incredible in "Key Largo". What a line-up and director. CLASSIC is the word.
Agreed! She stole the movie. I’d heard her name for years, but to my shame, had never watched a movie with her. Just saw a few days ago. She was great!
I was born in 1962 and I was remember as a young boy seeing 1939s Stagecoach and I fell in love with Claire Trevor in that movie. Such a great actress and a beautiful woman.
Love her, beautiful and talented i dont think she gets enough accolades very versatile but was one of the best bad girls ever !!!!!!!!!!!! She was heart braking in key largo so talented !!!!!!!!
Anyone who wants to know how to act on screen, watch Ms. Trevor in Dead End, Stagecoach and Key Largo, She was never less than superb in any part she played.
Murder My Sweet
Claire Trevor was not exactly one of my favorites 'back-in-the-day', but compared to the movie stars of today I LOVE HER. Stars like Trevor should not be forgotten.
Claire was a Great Actress.
RIP
Absolutely charming.
And seemingly very honest.
Thank you for posting. Appreciated.
She looks fantastic here ! 90 years old !
The Claire Trevor School of arts at the University of California in Irvine was name in her honor. Her Oscar and Emmy statuettes are on display in the Arts plaza next to the Claire Trevor theater.
one of my favorite actresses
I recently watched Key Largo again and her incredible performance. She was amazing!
"You gave me my first drink Johnny..."
What a classy woman. As the saying goes, they don't make em like that anymore.
Loved Key Largo. Still a pretty woman. She has aged well.
My heart breaks for her everytime I see that scene where Edward G makes her sing.
She was fabulous in that film and she looks amazing here.
She was also great in" Dead End...Murder My Sweet..Raw Deal," etc...
i had no idea Ms. Trevor was such a top film noir leading lady, one of the best. i had just discovered about 5-6 of her films from the late forties and was completely entertained!!
She fabulous in "Stagecoach" (1939) as well - well worth checking out.
I really enjoy her movies! What a beauty, talent, and classy wahine"!
My mother and father, a Captain, and Claire Trevor and her then husband, a Lieutenant, had dinner together one night while stationed at Duke University. My mother always said how lovely she was and how much she liked her.
Her episode of Hitchcock Presents is so good.
Thank you for mentioning. Hope it's on RUclips.
Wonderful interview with Miss Trevor.. She was so talented and was total class.
She was fabulous in Key Largo and also in her various RKO film noirs especially Murder My Sweet . The contrast in that film between Trevor and Anne Shirley was phenomenal.
Wonderful to hear from Ms Trevor. Hard to pick which is my favourite thought she was Wonderful in born to kill opposite Lawrence Tierney and another lesser known movie crack up opposite pat o brien
Love her in "Born to Kill" even though I didn't watch it for her but for Lawrence Tierney.
One of my favorites
What an amazing lady. Enjoyed listening to her. 🏴
Una belleza Claire Trevor con una actuación natural, encantadora.
TCM: when you run the edited versions of these interviews between movies, it would be nice if you would add a graphic like "Claire Trevor in 1998"
One of my favourite actors. Miss Trevor was a real Film Star. Loved her especially in " Stagecoach " where she top billed over John Wayne, and she was outstanding in " Key Largo " alongside the giants Humphrey Bogart, John Barrymore, Edward G. Robinson, and Lauren Bacall. What a stellar cast, and she won an Oscar.
She had such pretty skin even as an older woman!
A fantastic actor ...!!!
Actress - not actor. A man is an actor and a woman is an actress.
@@Spiderman7Bob7 Wrong. Get into the modern age.
@@Spiderman7Bob7 person doing acting are called actor, it may be men or women
My old girlfriend was an actor. She disliked the term actress. She'd say we don't have different words for female writers, musicians, directors, mechanics, doctors etc.
Highlight for me were her comments on Stagecoach. "I forgot I was in it." It was perfect. Cast. Script. Music. And of course Director.
I'm surprised the interviewer didn't ask her about working with Lawrence Tierney. Lawrence Tierney was a hard person to get along with. He was very sarcastic and rude on the set especially when he's been drinking.
oh claire and thanks for the memories xxx
Oh my gosh I love her
Her best roles were in 2 of the greatest films ever made, with 2 of the best directors and great actors: Anthony Mann's RAW DEAL, and Edward Dymitryk's Murder My Sweet
Surprised CT liked Crocodile Dundee Just wasn't expecting it I am Australian
Love Key Largo
One of my all-time female favourites agree with all comments below!
Lovely Lovely Lady ❤❤
LOVED IT, BIGTIME!!!!!!! THANKS 10MILL. UPLOADER.
Claire Trevor (née Wemlinger; March 8, 1910-April 8, 2000). Kiss Me Goodbye (1982) was her last movie role.
Sometime I had to go back and go back and go back because I couldn't hear the interwiewer. It spoils the interview.
What beauty
Claire Trevor! - A truly fine actress: must admit that she comes off as being much more "lady-like" than I expectedReckon i expacted her to be something of a "tough, hard-boiled dame"🤣
Balance out the difference to make things Right✨
What is the date of this interview?
1998
@@TubenIt83 Thank you.
Love her!
So how old was her child???
that same old interviewer. she's bad. her interviewees deserve better.
Yes, it's too bad it couldn't have been one of the tcm hosts. Eddie Mueller, who hosts the film noirs on Sat nights, would've been perfecto! Alicia Malone or Jaqueline Stewart would've been awesome, too. Still, it's great to see and hear Ms. Trevor. One of my all-time favorites.
Liked her I thought of her as Laura turners punk sister
she looks the same somehow
Great Woman. The interviewer is not great
