I feel like he stays under the radar on purpose to ensure he grows a true stable fanbase. if you blow up too fast your expectations can be too high and result in a quick downfall, like sofaygo. DC is a great dude, ive met him twice. he has a great supporting cast of friends and fans. He will continue to grow into a generational artist
He wants to take shit slow for sure, he could blow up easily if he wanted. All he has to do is get ONE mainstream feature and he’s taking off Travis Scott level, yeah i said it. DC is super versatile so the amount of people who would listen to him would be a very wide range.

I feel like it comes down to an image thing. A lot of people I know instantly write him off and call him corny before giving him a chance. If he was able to pivot his marketing or do some sort of rebrand I feel like he'd see more traction, the quality of music is def there and I think his management overall does a decent job with getting his name known.
It’s unfortunate because a I know a lot of people who have said they grew out of his music or just don’t care to listen to his new stuff, but on the other hand he keeps growing and evolving which is always a good thing even if it drives some people away
i like that dc js does music he wants to do n not what everyone else tells him to do. he sings/raps what he feels in the moment. he knows he can js do songs like "stop hating" over n over n the yeat, lone n ken fanbase would all fw his music more. js cus he can do it, doesnt mean he should b doing it. i personally like funeral the most out of all his projects, n ik if he did another similar album id fw it aswell, but i like the fact that dc for the most part changes the overall sound each album. i have over 120k plays on dc n ive only ever got bored of one song "7 knights" cus the community kinda js over hyped n over did everything w it, other than that, everything to this day he puts out n has put out, i replay thousands of times n i still get goosebumps n go numb.
