How To Clean Canon Printhead QY6-0073 Compatible with MP540 MP620 MX860 MX870 iP3600

This is a Canon QY60073 printhead, which I need to clean to get 100% quality prints. It really is not hard to clean it and that's why I'd like to share the process with you so you can also clean your printhead. Manual cleaning will do more than just an automatic cleaning that drains your ink cartridges.

Hi, My printer is not printing magenta. I guess that means the magenta print head is clogged. I soaked it once for 30 minutes. I will try soaking again for longer. And I will try the syringe method too. Thanks for the information. I love my canon mg5220 printer. I’ve had it since 2010. I really don’t wanna replace it if I don’t have to. Thanks again for sharing your information.
