    "When you look out into the skies above you at night and you imagine how vast it is, it is important to understand that this universe is full of life. It is not that life only exists in remote and rare outposts amidst a vast desert of emptiness. Though there are many, many worlds that are uninhabited and uninhabitable, life has anchored itself and established itself throughout the Greater Community.
    Therefore, answer for yourself once and for all the question of whether you are alone in the universe. How impossible this is. How preposterous to even think that this could be the case. This kind of thinking is born of the fact that humanity has evolved in a state of relative isolation and has not had the advantage of direct contact with intelligent life from beyond the world, except recently."
    *Life in the Universe, Chapter 1: Facing a Greater Community of Life | Received by Marshall Vian Summers in 2008*

    I do have one issue with the james webb which I knew I would have ,the pillars of creation look much better with hubble because of all the glowing light ,the James webb although great for lots of scientific reasons like looking trough dust and seeing the distant stars is giving an image the that isn't real ,if you went up to the pillars of creation you would see the right with you own eyes.Every time I see a james webb image its like looking at a hubble deep field image seeing all the galaxies in the background but it's lost the beauty.I said before it went up that it's not a replacement for hubble ,a replacement needs to be another optical telescope with purely optical mirrors

    • @kusokbik
      @kusokbik Год назад

      Hubble images are also not "real". In its RGB red depicts sulfur, green is for hydrogen and nitrogen, and blue is for oxygen.
      There's no such thing as "real" image. Our eyes react to some wavelengths differently, and so does the camera, be it your phone, Hubble or jwst.

      @@Ethan_Roberts that’s true. My problem is that they look so incredibly ridiculous and photoshopped to make them look magnificent and bright and shiny, and are sold to the public as a picture. This is the Instagram model who looks like a supermodel on her, incredibly filtered, pictures. But she looks like a dump truck when you actually see her. @@jaytoday10 you do know Photoshop is not another word for fake. The telescope exists and takes the pictures and depending on the filter used to isolate a specific wavelength depends on the colour seen in the picture.
