It was running earlier that day. Usually starts in 3 pulls cold, but I haven’t figured out how many primer shots it likes yet. It is also 30 degrees outside too
Man, I hope you have better luck with that than we did. Shortly after I started mowing lawns in the neighborhood as a kid, Dad decided I needed a newer mower. He traded our old bronze/brown LB on one of these. The old one ran like a top, never gave us a bit of trouble. The new green one never ran worth squat. Always surging and almost dying constantly. Four trips back to the dealer didn’t do any good. Dealer finally gave up on it and gave us a good deal trading it in on a Simplicity with a Briggs. Been using 4 strokes ever since.
I traded a can of pop for one that would not start, it had a thick piece of grass stuck in the reed valve, I fix it and used it till the wheel fell off from corrosion.
50 years old and starts on first pull. Love those engines.
