The president cannot act outside of what the constitution authorizes and if he does, can be impeached or his actions stricken by the courts as unconstitutional. Regarding project 2025, that’s a proposal by the heritage foundation, an independent group that proposes policies for a government. Does not mean that the president will follow or agree with. If say the president accepts project 2025… is it constitutional, is the president authorized to do any of that per the constitution. Rather than be scared look up that. Also the president or the federal government may make laws federally, but states are constitutionally authorized to make laws consistent with the constitution that is good for the welfare of their citizens. So in the event that the federal government stop funding education, states can provide and fund schools on their own through their budgets so these arguments made here are just as the host states “barbershop talk” lots of passion, but not enough knowledge of what he’s talking about.
What happens when your Supreme Court upholds everything unconstitutional set forth by said administration, does the Constitution continue to bear any meaning? What happens when some states choose not to educate while others continue? What then happens to America as a whole? Will the U.S. be able to compete on the world stage as a nation?
