Safe, quiet beach
Las Burras is located along the coast of the municipality of San Bartolomé de Tirajana, in the south of Gran Canaria, one of the most important tourist resorts in Canary Islands. It is a very busy beach but, stretching 300 metres in length and 110 metres in width, there is room to sunbathe comfortably on a lounger or relax under a sunshade. The beach is sheltered by a breakwater, making it safe and calm - perfect for the little ones to enjoy themselves. Precisely because of that, this pleasant toasted-sand beach is a favourite with families.

This lovely, fine-sand beach is perfect for sunbathing and swimming. Las Burras has all the comforts visitors need for a really pleasant day: showers, cleaning and maintenance, and lounger and sunshade hire. There is also a team of lifeguards, a special service for people with reduced mobility and a wonderful seafront promenade where you can enjoy a relaxing walk as you gaze at wonderful sea views all the way, if you like, to the nearby beaches of San Agustín and Playa del Inglés.
