    For a v6 this car is so fucking fast, had one pull up to me and im in a v8 adrenalin, this guy beat me off the line.

    it's honestly the best dimmer system i've ever seen. Like I never had to squint with cars behind me, worked well in tunnels too.

    I read a lot of comments no how this is not a sportscar, I mean it's a 3.6 V6 engine with 320+Hp, if that's not a sportscar then I can't imagine what the standard is...a reactor-engined drag racer?
    Here in EU a 3.0 bmw Z4 with "only" 300 hp is definitley considered a sportscar... but even though it could easily beat the crap out of any stock camaro out there I'd still stick to the chevy!!!

    Great review , on point ; you where yourself . I got a 2011 2ltrs 10 less HP then the 2012 ; omgoodness do I love it ! Such a joyful fun car for the money and omgoodness comfortable and that Boston Acoustics stereo ; WOW ! I’m old guy and have owned over 10 classic Camaros , all V8s , this V6 beets them all . I’m certain I would love the V8 ; HOWEVER , this feels faster when your not womping on it as a everyday driver . I recommend any 2010 or newer Camaro for everybody! I spent a year and test drove many before I knew I found the one for me .

    Excellent little review. So I've seen 2 now, one guy says the V6 is wimpy at low RPM, and you say it's torquey? I'm sure it doesn't compare to the V8, but I'd like to think it's better than just good enough.

  • @ChrisWeigel1
    @ChrisWeigel1  11 лет назад +1

    haha yeah I didn't secure the camera right, I didn't bring all my equipment as I didn't expect to do the full review that day- I'm just thankful I didn't shatter the SLR lens lol

    Hey what's up! I actually made up my mind...lol! I'm definitely gonna go for 2013 or 2014 Camaro 2LT. I wanna be able to play the music playlist from iPhone through the speakers. I'll get it in black. Black on black looks so nice. I may put down $5k plus my trade in.

    biggest difference as far as performance is the 2ls has a 2.92 rear end and the 1ls, 2lt have the 3.27 rear end.....but yes luxury upgrades are a main difference

    Nice review! I'm thinking about buying the 2013 1LT/RS with a sunroof in the blue ray metallic color. I'm not much of a fan of leather seats. What do you think?

  • @ChrisWeigel1
    @ChrisWeigel1  11 лет назад +1

    Thanks!

  • @ChrisWeigel1
    @ChrisWeigel1  11 лет назад

    That's an awesome color- what wheels would you go with? if you're not a fan of leather seats the cloth ones are fine, very rigid material. If you haven't tried the leather seats in the camaro/haven't sat in them, I'd give it a shot because they're super comfortable.

    I think the biggest difference you'll see has to do with all the luxury items, like the leather seats, sunroof, wheels and dimmers

  • @SithkalekGolfAndGaming
    @SithkalekGolfAndGaming 11 лет назад

    Oh and the seats are amazingly comfortable in this car. i could drive 12 hours straight before i had to pull over because my legs were asleep.

  • @ChrisWeigel1
    @ChrisWeigel1  11 лет назад

    haha I know- I did so many burnouts that day that the pirellis were melting onto the rear bumper! I was being conservative lol. I just wasn't filming when I was- if you see all the black tire marks on the pavement at the end that's from me before I was filming

  • @ChrisWeigel1

    Nice! you have any pics/vid?

  • @pierre-richardromain6708
    @pierre-richardromain6708 11 лет назад

    I'd keep the 20" wheels that comes with the RS package. I haven't sat on the leather seats of the Camaro. I have always had cloth seats. They've always been easier to clean. How much of a down payment should I give?

  • @TasteMyStinkholeAndLikeIt
    @TasteMyStinkholeAndLikeIt 10 лет назад +3

    0-60 times should be thrown out, or greatly reduced in importance, superceded by something like 30-80, or 40-100, etc. With so many cars now using bullshit launch control tricks to get astounding 0-60 times, making identical times with cars that are 200+ more hp, it's pretty clear that 0-60 doesn't tell you jack sheet anymore. And 0-100 isn't much better because it's still going to have the fake-n-bake 0-60 time hidden in it.
    If i'm trying to choose the fastest between a number of cars, it should be obvious that an Audi S4, BMW M3, BMW 235i, Camaro SS, and Mustang GT are going to have WILDLY different 40-100 times, but nearly identical 0-60 times. For phooks sake, quit the with chucking 0-60 b.s. already.

    • @Marklar10
      @Marklar10 8 лет назад

      There's hardly any difference between the two. I think something on the back end of the engine changed and they added like 8hp or something but other than that the 2011 and 2012 are identical. I have 2012 for what it's worth.

    Nothing against renting cars though, I'm might be renting a 2012 2LT convertible in Miami next week to try it out the convertible version since I already rented a coupe version a while ago in SF. A 2006 Mustang GT? The old camaro's and mustang's were awful, inside and out. ( pure trash for GM / Ford profit ) Both cars have improved to a point where they can compete with over seas sport cars now. I would have to wonder why anyone would go back to "those" cars and compare them to the new generation?
