Great video! Those are some great features on the mic! The auto mute feature is fire and could definitely save stream from hearing my wife yell at me for saying inappropriate things on stream. However, I could see the auto mute feature could also be annoying at times when you stand up or think you’re entertaining but you’re really just a mime. Just my thoughts.
You know I had the same thought and I forgot to include it in this video ahahaha. Using it at my gaming setup this week, there are times when I'm away from the mic and screaming, forgetting it's going to mute XD
WOOOOOO! I haven’t used the 240 as a primary mic, but I have set it up at every single one of my set ups one time or another, and I love it for cording acoustic guitar. Such an amazing sub $100 Mic
How come you used the compression setting when testing this? I get that 'in the real-world' you'd probably be using one, but surely one of the KEY features is showing how the mic changes the gain in relation to distance to mic; yet you're completely nullifying that by running the signal through a volume changing unit. Is it the compressor easing off the gain reduction as you back away from the mic, or is it the Aura? Or is it a bit of both - think you've missed the point here...
How come I used compression for part of the video? Because I and everyone else would most likely be using a compressor still. Thats why the some of the video has it on, and some has it off, so the audience could compare. Or does this prove you don’t need a compressor? And especially for tone junkies, does aura and compression result in a worse end result? And if adding a compressor on top of AURA made its auto leveling worse or causes strange issues, that’s something some would want to know. Especially since the testing shows the noise floor raises significantly when you back away.
And what of the recent surge of microphones with a "3 pin XLR M" connector that only uses two pins, needs 5 V bias and are unbalanced? Does XLR Imply universal compatabilty for anything connected via this connector?
Very high quality video, when I saw the view count I was super surprised you're not more popular than you are. Thanks for sharing the video!
Thanks for checking out RAY. I really enjoyed the video. Great work and awesome showcase of the mic. 👍👍
watch this guy hit 100k subs in a month, mark my words
idk about that buddy
Not going to lie, the AURA technology is pretty awesome. If I was in the market I'd for sure be looking at this Mic seriously.
If I was in the market, this would be an instant pickup.
Have I mentioned I LOVE YOUR VIDEOS!? Because I do. ☺️
You have... but you don't have to stop... it makes me warm
This review was way too much fun. Subbed and stuff.
I appreciate that ❤️ thank you.

I’ve been using the 240 pro for over a year and just purchased this yesterday!

holy shit I want this
What is an XLR mic?! There‘s condensers, dynamics, ribbons… XLR is merely a connector. Do I miss something?
It’s a mic. with an XLR connector.
