Thanks for the reminder on conditioning the seals on the C8. I did it last year when we got home with the car but will do it again for the upcoming winter driving season in AZ!

Rick - thanks for covering our text conversation regarding the dealer here in Charleston WV. The dealer WOULD NOT do the DCT filter change. They told me to bring it back at 7,500 miles a year or year and 1/2 from now!!!! and it will be free then. Oh boy…… Jeff

Great show today. Tell the guy looking at C5s to look up how to use the DIC and check the codes. Then you made me feel old. I remember opening the drivers door pushing the car myself jumping in and bumping it . That's back when you could leave the lights on and run down the battery. Haha ok I don't miss that part.
Thanks for answering my dielectric grease question. I will check back in if it turns out I have to re-index my windows. The good news is that in my binge watching, I saw one where you showed us how to do that already!! Thanks for a fun show and all the tips!! You guys are the best!

The 98 Pace Car seems to be a “Love or Hate” Model.
It’s not exactly conservative in its color scheme!

Yes I remember the video by lake where Rick (was being cheap) ha! Saying didn’t need Z51. Once you were driving your own oh boy that changed! You should do a review of that a “then and now: the story of Rapid Blue 1 and 2.0 and where I’m at!

My guess on switching a non 51 to z51 brakes would be a very expensive mess. Just order a z51 car to begin with. It would probably be a lot cheaper, a whole lot easier and you know it would work right from the get go.
MAYBE I JUMPED THE GUN? (In some people’s opinion?)
I HAD THE SERVICE DONE AT 1,100 MILES!
I EVEN HAD A “FULL FLUSH” OF THE TRANSMISSION!!!
I WAS FREAKED OUT OVER ALL THE ISSUES AND PROBLEMS WITH THE TRANSMISSION GOING BAD!
I just wanted to be very cautious and financially had the means to do it.
And, I had the additional 2 Quarts or 2 Liters added to the Transmission.
Z51 was an option I wanted for all it offered.
I thought better safe than sorry with better brakes and cooling!

Congrats to Randy, I was hoping to win after realizing I had the right answer. I did get a win earlier this week when my speed model was delivered. Rick, could you maybe spend a little time in a future upload on the Chevy speed model and it’s history. They are really cool.

Hi rick and chuck guess i mest up had trans filter and 2 quarts at 2560 miles just got oil filter. And trans filter done at 8600 thats less than 7500. Dealer that wants 95000 over on zo6 says trans waranty is void.
