@ really because on my car when i hit the rev limiter and then push the clutch in it holds the revs a 6000rpm for a few seconds before then dropping finally. It only does this up top at 3000rpm it drops really quickly for example
@@Person-cv9djInteresting, I’ll need to recreate that, I don’t think I’ve paid that close attention when at super high RPMs. You might be onto something.
I've noticed too that the computer holds the revs sometimes in anticipation of the next gear, but but its kinda sporadic. Clutch in & hold, look at the revs as you're coasting at speed, the revs don't immediately drop to idle, it lingers around 2000RPM for a bit before then dropping down. I have the MPPSK tune FWIW, but think my experience here applies to all B58s F30/F32s manuals regardless. I assume its to related to the rev-match logic that the car has. Tangentially, I know there is such a Clutch Delay Valve, just google it and you can determine for your own if you want to remove it. It's a bit invasive of scope. PS - you can rid of rev-match by going fully into sport-plus mode or fully turning the stability control off, both of which I never go into.
A 440i with Burbles, CEL, and 77k miles. You Sir, are a true BMW owner.
this made me laugh 😂
Those burbles sound amazing 🤤
IS THAT THE REAL AJ 😳
Hell nah this is Steve 🫣
Does your one also have such terrible reviews hang? With mine if i rev the engine out i have to wait an eternity until i can drop the clutch
@@Person-cv9dj I didn’t notice any rev hang on my 440i actually! My previous car (2017 Civic Si) had terrible rev hang.
