The difference between New Zealand gold vs. Canadian gold is truly astounding. You find a nugget that blows multiple Canadian sniping trips out of the water in a few hours. Incredible!
So lovely seeing Nelson Airport, one of our “Family” Airports. You know it’s Family when your bag is left behind in Rotorua, but the ground staff recognise not only your surname but know your sister in law as she’s their dentist, so they arrange to deliver your bag to your address - a staff member drops it off on the way home. Ah, gotta love NZ. Merry Christmas & Happy New Year Paulie & Friends🎉🎉🎉🎉
A wax/oil blend held in pockets around the body, built in to the wetsuit - tune it so it solidifies just above body temperature. Solar heating or a campfire melts it all ahead of time, and the long slow slope of gradual phase change will keep you warm far longer than, say, hot water bottles of a similar volume. The material could be as simple as paraffin and mineral oil blended in the right proportion.
Damn, Pauly! What you found in your first day back to NZ is the same weight of what I found in an entire year in the Motherload of CA. Well done! Gorgeous nuggets!
Looks identical to the streams where I grew up in the Catskills mountains. Spent many hours on them and not one spec of gold. To think I could also be finding nuggets in a place like that would be awesome.
The sniping videos are always my favourite. I think I find them really relaxing because of the sound of the water. NZ seems to be calling you, emigration on your mind yet?
Hey yes I totally agree! The only thing that beats laying in the river, is seeing gold while doing it 😊 You may see me in New Zealand more often for sure..
Merry Christmas 🎅 Pauly and family. Thanks for another year of elite content with hundreds of giggles along the way. I hope you smash all records in the new year. 👍🏻⚒️🏴
I hope you have a permit to pan for gold in NZ, cos it's illegal unless it's in an area designated for "fossicking". Also, your methodolgy i.e. using ANY form of machinery is Illegal. You apply thru NZPAM for a permit.
With these large nuggets being relatively common, I wonder if it would be more efficient to do a hybrid approach where you use a waterproof metal detector and snipe only when you receive a good signal.
Cool vid Pauly! What a beautiful place! FYI: Did you get a new mic for your voice overs? Sounds tinny. Like the high freq's are pushed too forward and making an unpleasant hissing.
Do you ever see pieces of gold that you missed when you're editing? I always think I see pieces. I know, you've told us that it looks brighter in person than on camera, but I'm curious. Great video!
In person, gold REALLY stands out and there are a lot of yellow rocks. I don't think I've ever noticed gold after but if I did, I think I would just convince myself it's a rock 😅
If you do read these poly, I lived in British Columbia for 18 years just recently moved back to Newfoundland. I could not find gold in the creeks built a high Baker Miller table, and a trailer trumlal obviously I never put any serious time into prospecting. I just wanted to build the machines and I figured if I ever found the spot then I would have what I needed to get her down to gold iCan see why you’re over in a different country. One thing I can say is it way easier British Columbia to buy a cold claim all you need to do is go to BC ID and they mining certificate which only cost a few dollars I actually have that and now I live in Newfoundland and the only way you can get, a claim is through crownland and applying and it’s way different and stupid
There's a big difference between being dry, and being warm. Wetsuits IMO keep you warmer longer, are safer for rivers as you're more mobile and can't get caught on anything like you can with a drysuit, and are much cheaper overall.

Oh man I know! I've seen some big nuggets come out of where I play in Canada but they're much harder to find!!

Welcome back to this side of the world! Please tell me this time are you going to do any meet & greets??

Awesome 👏👏👏 you are a gold magnet 😊👏👏
Welcome back bro 🤘
Love these videos! Are you able to make your money back with the gold you snipe when considering the costs of the trip? Sure looks awesome!
Awesome Pauly!!
Merry Christmas 🤶 from a kiwi prospector .
GET STUCK INTO IT MATES.
Nice catch, do you need to declare the finds for taxation?
I wouldn't.. bugger letting some other buggers tax me for finding something.
Una aventura extraordinaria 🎉🎉🎉

Wowsers😮 nice nuggies....looking forward to the next vid.
😁👋👍👍👏👏💕🙏🏻
Love the video. Thank you for sharing.
The best time of the year for it. remember sunscreen, we may not have bears but the sun can mess you up a bit....
Pauly is a vampire? Conspiracy Theory?
That's a beautiful amount of gold.
I love ur videos our weird host I watched your every video atleast 3_4times its just wonderful your old subscriber from India Punjab
Trying to make sure you find enough gold this year to cover the lambo? Finishing off the year in style.
That's pretty much it but I also want to keep my gold!! 😅
@@PioneerPaulyHello can I give you a question about this rock what is this ruclips.net/video/fJvDq1Go4nQ/видео.html
While you are over this way , are you heading back to Australia ?
@PioneerPauly
What river are you on? Is it accessible by arrangement/agreement?
Heyy✌️ Pualy have you thought try drysuit I've heard there better then wetsuits 🤔👀that big nug dam
River rocks will chew them up and they aren't as repairable as wet suits.
@@paulcallicoat7597 ah makes sense
I can see y

@@PioneerPauly Ya iv notice there cheaper
I gotta get onto doing this here
Awesome stuff. Merry Christmas Pauly, thanks for all the entertainment this year!
Same to you happy holidays!
That smallest picker that Reese found on day 1 is 6x larger than the biggest gold in my area.
