Ashley, you have to read W1ll1am by Mason Coile, I finished the ALC last weekend and now I need to find a book that is this fun!!! It’s been an issue 🙄 I had a great time, so creepy, mix on final destination, Chuky, AI and smart home, claustrophobic nightmare 😂 Wow! I think that should be the synopsis 😂😂
I wish The Night Guest was a bit longer. I also really got hooked the first half but needed more for the end. Still a fun ride and great book to read in one sitting on a fall day.
I've yet to read House of Leaves (going to try this year), but I LOVED Piranessi (I think you should try again!!), so I'm very interested in Coup De Grace.
Thanks for the recommendations. I'm going to check out The Night Guest. I can definitely relate to not wanting to go to the doctor because of bad experiences there.
I've read 3 horror novellas this year~! I highly recommend The Haar by David Sodergren, which is about an elderly woman in a scottish fishing village fighting back against overseas property developers when a mysterious fog appears... and leaves something behind 👀 It's described as "romantic and deranged." I also loved Ring Shout by P Djeli Clark, which is about three Black women in 1910's Georgia hunting Klan members that literally turned into demons. It's a sucker punch of a book in the BEST way.
Completely agree with Haunt Sweet Home. It had some intriguing ideas, but it didn't deliver on any of them and that made it feel disjointed and lacking cohesion. I feel like if it'd been a full novel it would've been better.
242 pages, W1ll1am by Mason Coile was so creepy, so much fun! I don’t know your taste in books but I loved it, even though the synopsis wasn’t really interesting to me, it is so much more! My worst claustrophobic nightmare 😂

It was so cool to see you there! Thanks for taking a picture with me.
Hi Ashley 🎉 thanks for the video, I've been on the fence about reading the Night Guest...now still on the fence 😂
😂

That’s such a bummer about Home Sweet Haunt, that one sounded so interesting 😅😭
The concept was cute! I just wish it would’ve done something else with that ending 🤷🏻♀️
The Night Guest started great. I didn't like where it went. I also read it on ebook and had no idea it was so short 😂

I want to read the night guest so bad 😤😤
“We Used to Live Here” reminded me of “House of Leaves”
Ooooh I’ll be reading that one soon!
👻
These didn't sound like I would want to read them, Have you given a list of suggested horror novella's before?
