Last time I was in Terlingua the theater was an empty building. The store was being worked on as was the church. Looks good now 40 years later. A lot more folks there now.

I get $1500 a month in S.S.D.I and state pension, here it takes every bit of it there will be a lot lest
Those "screws" on the spoon are there because it comes with a knife and fork which have holes that align with the screws and stack to lock together under the spring tension, to form a part of a "mess kit" for camping, backpacking, etc.
PERRY WAS THE OWNER OF THE MINE AND TOWN , AND HIS HOUSE WAS THE BIG ONE ON THE HILL, AND HIS WIFE LEFT THE DAY AFTER SHE CAME, AND FOUND A STAIRCAGE FROM HIS BEDROOM DOWN TO THE MAID'S ROOM.
how much does property going for there nowdays? I live in Houston and almost bought some back 40 or 45 years ago but just now retired. I don't really care where it is, the further out the better I'm self sufficient in the desert or the forests.
BigDawg Cleveland Thanks for the input. I didn’t shoot this with the intent of ever posting or I would have done things differently. I’ve since invested in an external mic to address that issue. Cheers!
Come on. All the time in the world and you RUSH the video.!! You don't even leave enough time to read your opening sign. You're on an item and BAM, off it, giving no time to examine anything on this land.!!!
"Viva Terlingua" Jerry Jeff Walker
If you haven't heard it check it out, great music!
Wow that is a great place. Greetings from the Philippines. ❣️
I’ve been to Terlingua several times. Wonderful place. Great hiking. Fine people. Attended the funeral of one my friends.
We would love to see more of your Mrs. She looks great!

Hard to believe it's been 16 years since I installed those fans in the Trading Co. and kept my office at the end of the alley.

"Any of you guys ever talk to a couple a' old timers named Talus and Scree out there in the lowest part of the coir arc?"
Tid-bit of trivia: Terlingua was the setting of the movie Frank and Penelope directed by Texas own native son, Sean Patrick Flanery.
That is the public school not parry mansion. The mansion is the largest 2 story you filmed in the background on the hill.
Thanks for the info Charles. I realized that after I took the shot.
How come the music is always too loaud, but people can't talk loud enough for anyone to hear them on these videos?
The production quality is not great but when using a phone it is what it is.
I own property in Terlingua. Thanks for the upload. Disregard the trowls...
4williamtx One of the coolest towns I’ve visited. Hope to go back someday.

Love your horseback ride guide. Who did you book with?
That's Jenny with Big Bend Stables. She is very good!
Very nice
Need to visit. How far is it from Ft Worth.
Probably about 500 miles. Look up Brewster County on a Texas map.
Two words for you: external mic
Nice video
marie d thank you!
the leaving money is to pay the boatman for your crossing when you die.
How far to a decent grocery store?
Bring everything you can but there is a decent grocery in Terlingua. Just a bit expensive.

Rio "Grand" FYI
Music too loud (common editing mistake) One has to be the feature (your dialog or the music) not both.

You've got some real issues if you're complaining about music being too loud for 0:17 seconds of a 16:27 minute video!!! 🙄
More graves then people.looks worst than undeveloped country village.mexican movie spot🤣😂
