Thank you for the demonstration/information on the amplifier. You are working the "bugs out" for us. That will save us the headache of doing it ourselves. 😆
Just bought mine...like 2 minutes ago! I am SO excited to use this. I am going to gift my Cube to my friend whom I have gotten them hooked on playing flutes after I have mastered this amp. I hike a LOT and need something compact! AWESOMELY excited!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
@@BlueBearFlutes Just set it up and went for a test ride. Sadly, Brother Wind had no desire to hear me play. Tomorrow is a new day. Also...I do notice that each of my flutes have that vibro-thing happen when I lift my bottom three fingers while using the amp. I'll be testing your "paper pad" theory next!
Well Charlie, do you know what happens when a car (my car in this case) drives over a small amplifier? I now know. Do you watch what I am doing? Yes I will order one, it does sound great, and this video is out just a day after my little mishap. I just looked at your price too, very good.😊 Thank you again Charlie
I have struggled a bit with the midtones sounding bad, but it was mentioned on my facebook post to try putting the mike at the base of the flute by the endhole. That seems to really fix that issue! Try it!
The problem actually isn't the tones as I have discovered, it's how loud the flute is at the sound hole. Some flutes are incredibly loud at the sound hole and some are not. The microphone is so sensitive that this was over driving its condenser. We have another video that we haven't released yet demonstrating exactly what you mentioned about putting the mic at the bottom of the flute. It actually makes the flute sound even better that way! 😄
Looks really good, though I have to say I would greatly prefer that the default should be to turn the amp on without any intro music being played. Just takes forgetting to hold the button to be embarrassing or awkward.
I understand what you mean. For my own use, I have a similar feeling however this model could only come with music at the beginning. I had hoped the music I chose would be best.
Hey Charley I just ordered one yesterday. I have a question, can the amp and microphone be charged with a portable battery pack? Like ones you can use with your phone. Thanks for sharing with us all. 19:46
Thank you very much for uploading, this amp might just be what I need. Does anyone know if these types of amplifiers are suitable for panflutes? Thanks in advance 🙂
I have come full circle. I put the mike back on the neck wire thing, and moved the mike away from the flute. This works better than velcro as you can easily move the mike around to get the best sound. Also you don’t have velcro on your flutes.
Sounds great Charlie!!! Does it have reverb effect as well? I gues that amp works great on a string instrument or why not on a acoustic guitar. When are you selling it again because it said on your website out of stock. Have a great day
Thanks Charlie for finding this. I have the earlier one, bought from you, which is pretty good in itself, but I have been looking for an upgrade and think I have found it now. I noted someone saying they bought the last one you had. Do you expect a delay in orders like mine? I don’t mind waiting, but curious how long the wait might be?
Our new amplifier is still currently in stock so it should ship out soon if you have already bought it. That having been said we've been a little behind this week on shipping due to educational events I have been requested at.
Just got it Charley and am very happy, thanks for finding and providing it! I have one question, I am wondering exactly how to get the mike off the neck wire? I don’t want to break anything. i
Not sure if it will work with the UK's electrical system. I hear that it's spotty sometimes! In addition to the cost of the amp on my website as well as the additional shipping to the UK, there is also Customs charges you'll have to pay when it gets there.
@@BlueBearFlutes Thanks for the reply. Is there anyone over there that would know if it does work in uk please ? As it sounds like it's the kind of thing I been looking for too. I would deeply appreciate it if you could some how find out for me please. Thank you so much.
@howling_at_the_moon1 I ask because if you have watched the video you would know that there's a section that talks about how to use this device in the UK. It does mention Germany specifically but of course it stands to reason if it works there it works in London.
Hello Mr Bluebear, does the amplifier play louder than the flute itself ? That wireless box mounted on the flute should be in pocket and a wire with mic with an clip so you can switch flute without needing to mount off and on that box ;) Kind regards from Sweden
Hahahaha! It certainly is louder than the flute! It's 20 watts which I'm guessing equates to somewhere around 185 decibels. As far as how the mic should or shouldn't connect, I have tried quite a few things in my 35 plus years of flute playing and this is the best.
@@BlueBearFlutes Have you tryed the amp with the shoulderstrap and take it outside for some testing? At the end of the video when you play it, is that with maximum effects, and that effect is it reverb combined with delay ? I remember some years back there was an amp system for the native flute called Litek Mini-FX with lots of effects settings, sadly it was discontinued.

Thanks for the video. It seems very interesting. It's too bad that the demo part is so small
I do have another video about this amplifier that may help you and am posting more over the weekend! It has been a very busy flute making season!
This was very interesting. I'm probably never going to need an amplifier, but if I ever do the one you demonstrated certainly would fill the bill.
😊 Thanks! Good to hear from you my friend!
Just bought one !
Thank you!
Just bought one and very impress over it
I'm having visions of a Native American flute pedal- board! 🙈

I've got some extra velcro cord wraps/organizers that I bet would work great. Just tossing out that idea for others.

Hi I bought your amp 3 years ago but I lost the manual is there a way that I can buy one
My recommendation would be to contact me through my website and I can may be able to email you a copy of it.
Can you teach me how to play your intro (tune)?
Sure can my friend! ruclips.net/video/EDvhSwO9Ggc/видео.html
Hi, can you please tell me if this amp has a headphone entrance?
It does not. Are you looking for something that you can listen to and echo of your flute through headphones?
@BlueBearFlutes yes indeed, I 'm looking for something that I can listen to the echo of the flute through headphones. Do you have any recommendations?
Will this work OK in UK with our Electric system .and what would be the price with shipping to UK pleasev
