That would be your spirit animal! It’s a bear. Remember there are no coincidences.
Beautiful music, tone. I love cedar scent. Now for the little flute. It is cute! I like it too but the larger ones are more soothing. Thank you for sharing your music and talent.
    Love it! ♥️

My little people flute is finally coming! I ordered it because it honors the little people tradition. I'm so excited to get it. I also talked with Charlie on the phone. Seriously good guy.

Elissa, you made the unwrapping of the two Blue Bear flutes fun and informative. I hope Charlie viewed this. I am sure he would be pleased. He probably commented that he's in Alabama, not Arizona. By now you have probably played both flutes many times. 😇😘

Great video! I recently acquired my first spirit flute, a low D drone, and after years playing the flageolet, find it quite a struggle for my stumpy little fingers. One month down the track and only just starting to sound remotely better than a 5 year old learning the recorder 🤣🤣
One day hopefully. They are such moving instruments
    Thanks for posting

Blue bear flutes are amazing and so are their videos ! You can use your pinky instead of ring finger for the low note on the low D flute, and either major finger or ring finger for the second note

If you find the big Low D flute hard to finger, Elissa, you might want to try covering the holes with the middle joints of your middle and index fingers, especially on your lower hand. This is a fingering technique used by players of the Indian transverse bamboo flute, the Bansuri. It can extend your reach.

Hi Ellissa.. the bear represents many forms when she comes to us in dreams. You mentioned fear and hiding from her. I interpret that to mean that she is telling you to face your fears or trepidations that you have not resolved in your heart... hence the many visits to you. May I suggest to you when you next journey, and see her, that you face mother bear and ask her to help you understand. I know that YOU know that it is not always WHAT we want to learn buy what we NEED to learn that our power animals will bring.

thank you so much, i had a dream just last night that 2 adolescent cubs were chasing me, they cornered me and then did nothing, and then i started to fear if their mother was close behind. I am knee deep in shadow work and am facing fears dead in the face, im happy to say. :)

Hi You know your really lucky to have so many flue makers over there.
I'll be ordering a flute from Herb Welsh who is Arapaho. He too has some lovely looking flutes.
The only problem I have is,that we here in UK has to pay customs and handling charges.

I appreciate you making this video. Can I suggest that it would be much easier to hear what the flute sounds like without the background music overlapping it. Perhaps during editing, you could drop out the music in the spots where you are playing.

ive only played 5 holes and 6 holes where on hole is covered, 6 holes gives you an extra notes and more musical opportunities to play. :)

The little flute is not really of wood. It is made out of River Cane, which grows wild in Alabama, where Blue Bear Flutes is headquartered. Making flutes from River Cane (Arundinaria gigantea) is one of Charlie Mato-Toyela's specialties. River Cane does not grow in the arid deserts of Arizona.

    • @megferguson8035

He doesn't make the little people flutes out of river cane anymore. I just ordered one, and the one I ordered is poplar.
