This is great! Thanks so much. I’m on my way to sync, currently challenging myself over the next 100 days to create as much music as I can to create my library. Along the way I’ll be working on these steps.
Step 4 was my favourite for sure! That composer that stepped up to do the vocal mixing really created a new lane of revenue for her/him self and also created great value for the library 🎉
Really clean presentation man! I’m trying to get into the sync industry but it’s daunting with all the info and ways to go about it. Condensing the process into actionable steps makes it seem a lot more achievable! Thanks!
i've been djing for 20 plus years now what you're saying sounds interesting. my daw choice is sreato stdio. using loops and beats to make music for shows sounds like fun and productive.
This is dope! definitely going to start implementing these asap, especially the discord and facebook sync communities. Such an easy tool but just forgot it was there to utilise
This was super helpful! I tried to find the Realm - Sync Licensing discord channel but was struggling to find it? Do you think you could drop the link here? Thank you again!
Great video with some good tips. The editing was smooth. I’d say having patience is the most valuable tip. Patience with being accepted into libraries. Patience with getting that first placement. Patience with making better music etc.
Appreciate your insight and you're an unsung hero. Used to have that same responsibility and it can be overwhelming at times depending on the amount and quality of submissions
@@XcaliberZeroSync . I wasn't clear on using Hubspot. I totally get the idea about a bespoke email (my favourite point). I created a Hubspot account while I was watching your video but finding custom emails was a challenge. Once found, you need a Professional Hubspot account. Is your point to create a kind of landing page that acts like a skin on top of DISCO?
Usually if I'm pitching to get in I send 3-5 tracks but every library is different. It doesn't hurt having 10-12 ready but when I'm initially sending I'm only sending 3-5 unless their guidelines say otherwise.
Hi Xcaliber. Question? I was approved for my audition song for Tunedge. What does it mean when Tunedge want you to upload a Song Photo? I couldn't find an answer anywhere on their site. Thanks.
Yea you can if you're working directly with music supervisors or sync agents. For music libraries it depends on their policy, sometimes they'll release it for you
@@macaroon147No, you have that backwards. You create original and unique things and AI trains on it and recreates and improves it passively at a superhuman speed and it does this with everything. You are literally feeding the beast creativity.

This is a goldmine of information! Thank you my friend! I've had several placements over the years. Trying to get more.
I just got serious three months ago about this . . . and being a composer at my age is now irrelevant . THANK YOU!!! peace n prosperity INCREASE!!!

Thanks man! One of the most important steps in my opinion. The step that most skip, even though you can't skip it to progress
Appreciate this video man! I was looking for a way to create a music library type site and looks like Disco allows me to do that.
Most definitely! It's what I'm using

Quite informative man, thank you for this video. Is there a link to your discord server?
No problem! I have it on my site xcaliberzero.com/free
Thank you for speaking about patience Also, had a question how many songs are good to submit to a music library 10 to 12 or more?

I believe that's album artwork
💯
Can you release your sync music on your own platform or no? Like can my fans enjoy the music that I’m submitting to be synced
Yea you can if you're working directly with music supervisors or sync agents. For music libraries it depends on their policy, sometimes they'll release it for you
can you still perform music that you licensed for sync
What if you just want to make instrumental music?
Instrumentals place more than vocals for tv!
Should I do all this when you can put a description of what you want to hear into AI and get unlimited songs instantly?
Wouldn't the AI pull from sync licensing libraries though?

your link for the cheat sheet doesn't work
Thanks for the heads up!
@XcaliberZero great content bro for me trying to break into the space. thanks for the nuggets.
