For those who don’t know, back in an older version of the show, someone actually did get 200 points on their own, so the host decided to prank the other contest by telling them they only got 20.
I believe that was Richard Dawson.

Love how when the 1st person racks up almost 200 points, when the 2nd person manages to get like 8, the family comes running & braces them, like they hit the walk off home run.
Considering how many people have failed when there were so few points needed, it's a bigger deal than one might think. It can be hard to come up with any answer when all the number one answers are already taken

@@pio24m Logically, it would differ everytime depending on the pool of a hundred people they asked. If their opinions differed enough, it might not be possible to get 200 with all the best answers, if they opinions were similar for the vast majority, the best answers will get more than 200. Statistically, it's more likely for their opinions to differ a bit. The last lady in the video got all the best answers right and only got 198.

Clementine Real game show fans know that this show simply doesn’t measure up to the likes of Jeopardy! and The Price Is Right. You’re entitled to your own opinion.
@@930bestvideos Yes both of those shows are classics and measure up very well but Family feud is a bit more popular at least now a days because of the comedy in it and plus the questions are a lot easier to answer than jeopardy so the average Joe enjoys watching it for fun. Plus its popularity even brought in celebrity family feud and the ratings come in even more because of that. Not to mention it's on everyday a few times a day. So just because the other 2 shows you mentioned are more classics and will be remembered forever. Family feud is deffinitely like the NBA play offs of game shows, just because of its popularity alone. It's far more mainstream than the other 2 shows. Doesnt mean it's better, just more mainstream. Especially with the younger crowd. Not many high school kids are watching the price is right or jeopardy

One of the early versions of Feud had a contestant get 200 points and the host pranked the second player by asking ridiculous questions that had NO good answers. It was hilarious!!! Even the studio audience played along, not making a sound as they brought out the second player, as though the first player had done poorly.
It's hard not to tear up watching the families celebrate! Such awesome moments of this show!

I really enjoy the show. Steve has really made it more entertaining. The question “on a scale of 1-10 how perfect of a person are you”. 30 people out of 100 said 7, 16 people out of 100 said 8. That means almost half the people surveyed believe they are in the top two-thirds of human perfection….. Think about it.

I know for a fact that there has been at least one perfect first round. It was when Richard Dawson was host. The first round, they gave the top answers for every question. She scored 201 in the first round. When the second member came out, he said they had to get 185 points to win, then asked impossible questions as a joke.
It was Ray Coombs who did that, not Richard Dawson, and there were two perfect games under his regime. I think they may now have a rule that a perfect game is impossible, but I don't know.
