1 1/2 cup flour, 188 g
1 cup sugar, 200 g
2 tsp baking powder
1/8 tsp salt
3 eggs
1/4 cup oil
1/4 cup melted butter
2 tbsp lemon juice, fresh
1 tbsp lemon zest
1 tsp vanilla essence
1/2 cup milk
FROSTING:
1 cup icing sugar
1 tbsp + 1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp milk

I made it without oven and it came out great. I added 1 tsp baking powder and 1 tsp baking soda. Adding soda made it fluffier.

aapse ek query thi ke jab hum sugar ko egg ke saath beat kerte hain tou kuch log kehte hain ke it must be foamy till it forms stiff peak.yaani itna beat kerna hai... lekin ghar per sugar aur egg saath mein beat kerne per itna foamy nahi hota ke peak form kare ... Tou mujhe kya kerna chahiye ??

Hi, did you added vanilla essence as it can cut the taste of lemon zest I am confused and worried at the same time. If I skip vanilla essence it will have eggy smell, please let me know if the vanilla essence changes the flavour or not.
