  • This river was one of our favourite rivers in the world, last year this region in Norway was decimated by a crazy flash flood. We thought that this section would be gone but somehow it just got even better. Looking forward to learning all of the lines again!

Stout water, some sweet paddling, and you called the swim ahead of time and were ready for it. Thanks for sharing being nervous about the run as well as the stoke. Rock on!

I'm only at 1:24 but I have to comment before I watch any further that this topic needs to be next in your how to series: Giving and Receiving Beta. I'd agree with you that a lot of kayakers scaremonger others when giving beta but often the simplest advice is the best.
Ok, I finished watching before I could finish commenting; that was ridiculously awesome!

It's definitely a great way to scout some rapids in otherwise inaccessible locations with a drone.
Technology has certainly changed that aspect of whitewater boating quite a bit, with satellite maps, drones, online gauges and such making life so much easier!
Thank you for sharing a video of this fun run!
I had expected more strainers in this river, though, purely from seeing that drone footage.

Amazing kayaking video. The scouting, the sanity and the skill, its just impressive. I think that this guy, that had to swim, has absolutely no reason to feel ashamed - all of them showing of insane skill and a positive, healthy way how to adventure such extreme locations as a group safely.

Looks like a great river. Congrats. Unfortunately it's hard to tell the actual speed of the rapids when video editing is constantly altering it. Would it be possible to see an unaltered version?

Question: When you are on dry land, do you push your nuts around in a wheelbarrow or have you taught them to lean on a hoverboard? Seriously, you all need to do an IMAX with a combo of all of you're crazy POV runs.

I don't think he was actually trying to catch that eddy. He just had to carry a ton of speed to cut across current and dodge that giant rock in the middle of the flow.
