- This river was one of our favourite rivers in the world, last year this region in Norway was decimated by a crazy flash flood. We thought that this section would be gone but somehow it just got even better. Looking forward to learning all of the lines again!
Stout water, some sweet paddling, and you called the swim ahead of time and were ready for it. Thanks for sharing being nervous about the run as well as the stoke. Rock on!
I'm only at 1:24 but I have to comment before I watch any further that this topic needs to be next in your how to series: Giving and Receiving Beta. I'd agree with you that a lot of kayakers scaremonger others when giving beta but often the simplest advice is the best.
Ok, I finished watching before I could finish commenting; that was ridiculously awesome!
Cheers dude, I agree that would be a great topic to cover! Thanks for the idea
It's definitely a great way to scout some rapids in otherwise inaccessible locations with a drone.
Technology has certainly changed that aspect of whitewater boating quite a bit, with satellite maps, drones, online gauges and such making life so much easier!
Thank you for sharing a video of this fun run!
I had expected more strainers in this river, though, purely from seeing that drone footage.
I hope when I grow up I have a group of friends to paddle with who you can trust like you guys. Sickkk video guys :)
Amazing kayaking video. The scouting, the sanity and the skill, its just impressive. I think that this guy, that had to swim, has absolutely no reason to feel ashamed - all of them showing of insane skill and a positive, healthy way how to adventure such extreme locations as a group safely.
Well done lads, good work out there. The editing keeps getting better, keep up the good work!
this deserves so much more love and support than it has, awesome video man keep it up
That's some class A safety rescue bren, well done mate 👏
Thank u so much for sharing. It is weird to live here and se how it is changed . My plan last year was to paddle skjøle this autumn but I realize that it need loads of more training now !! Cheers 🤟
Goodluck bro and enjoy it when you do get on it! Amazing river
Great stuff nicely put together. Ridiculous River.
Okay that was sweet!!! There was a spot Bren got stood straight up, but rode it like a champ, the skill was epic (14:35)!!!! Sweet to see a rescue, would love to see how you saved the boat too. The three of you are awesome!!! The skill is impressive.
Cheers for watching mate!
One of the sickest video's yet
Great river, and awesome rescue. Love the vids. Safe paddling.
Awesome job lads keep up the great work 👍👍👍👍
Great video fast and well planned rescue great job keep on sending
World class paddling and world class foresight and rescue skills. Top bombing gents and keep up the good work!
Thanks mate! Have a great weekend!
Such an awesome vid! Love it
Looks like a great river. Congrats. Unfortunately it's hard to tell the actual speed of the rapids when video editing is constantly altering it. Would it be possible to see an unaltered version?
Hollywood can't even come close to this!!
Question: When you are on dry land, do you push your nuts around in a wheelbarrow or have you taught them to lean on a hoverboard? Seriously, you all need to do an IMAX with a combo of all of you're crazy POV runs.
Sick river! You should put more BTS content in your videos like that - it was cool to see the rescue and safety measures you take.
Reported for sexual content. Those lines where just too damn nutty
It looks so easy!
A rare sight, seeing Martin Vollen swim. Not sure I want to paddle the Don version now, the original was hard enough.
Someone may have already asked this (my apologies if so) but what dji do you guys fly most regularly? Spark?
DJI Mavic Pro 2! such a great drone!
That looked terrifying.
Hey Bren. Did i just saw you miss the eddy at 6:38???
If so... Good paddling further down:)
I don't think he was actually trying to catch that eddy. He just had to carry a ton of speed to cut across current and dodge that giant rock in the middle of the flow.
08.59 Parkour mode engaged. Love it.
makellos!!
viel Spass!
you guys don't carry a extra paddle?
Skjoli you can't be serious‽
Song at 3:20 ?
Gauge?
1.9 on the old one at the ottom of the river
That seemed like a lot of wood.
Not too bad and only one rapid had it in play bad enough for us to portage
You got a low battery.
Hi Bren!! The whitewater was just sick! Thanks for sharing!! Susan from Canada! 👍👏🏼👍 (^_^) SICK!!
