This is so useful! I can't be appreciative enough of this. I'm on a budget and have been looking for ways to properly accommodate my future blue-tongued skink, without having to spend $400+ just on the enclosure itself. Plus, this was probably the most simple tutorial on building my own that I could find out there. I don't do DIY projects ever, and I can definitely follow this w/ at most help from one other person. I'm def going to visit Home Depot tomorrow and buy everything I'll need. Thank you!!

I’ve been watching videos on building vivariums so your channel got recommended. This video was great but your vibe is even greater! Thanks the ideas.

Great tip on the wood! Most people do not know that Lowes and HD will cut it for you!

good work, you should drill some aeration holes in the bottom of your plexiglass so you'd have a better airflow ;) if you look at commercial terrarium they always have some in the front, cold air come in the front and hot air goes out on top, also if you have trouble keeping it warm enough you can cover some of the mesh on top ;)

I like the enclosure. I would just say keep an eye out and make sure she doesn't ingest the substrate. It could cause a blockage.

Great build the only thing I noticed is your knobs for opening your doors weren't even lol. That would of bothered me and I would of leveled them out.

This type of enclosure won't work for a BB. It doesn't hold humidity at all. Now, It would be good for your reptiles that have low humidity.....or it'd be a good rodent cage. But, I wouldn't suggest this (open top) style (unless you have that aluminum tape to help seal it untill it starts holding humidity)
