This is an old socialist song, a song of the Paris commune in the revolution of 1871. The people of Paris stormed the heavens and took power from the liberal bourgeoisie. The commune established the first workers democracy in the world. It lasted two months before the French bourgeoisie cut a deal with the coming Prussian army to liberate Paris from the parisian people. All the community leaders of the commune were massacred in the coming liberal counter-revolution. The hopes and dreams of the time live on, including this song.

The Commune of Paris has lasted 2 months, you can't say it was anti-authoritarian just because anarchists were implied, it's more a model of non-sectarian attempt to make socialism than a pure anarchist thing, even if federalism was important for the project.
