Don’t listen to the ppl who complain. With resin you have to move reasonably quickly depending on working time but you get the best effects when you slow down, calm down and take your time. These are awesome too
That's right, if you don't want to watch because it's to long, move on and don't ruin it for everybody else!!!! I enjoy all of your videos and I've learned so much. I think you are amazing!!!!
I've done a bit of acrylic pouring, went to glittering and/or wrapping tumblers, then on to experimenting with resin. Like I've just made 4 coasters at this point, so I'm just sticking my toe in. I'm watching every video of yours I can find for all you tips you put in your videos, how much resin paste or powder, how much mica, etc and techniques. Your videos are like gold to me. Thank you, Julie, for paving the way.
I really enjoy watching you work from start to finish. I wouldn’t dare fast forward. I don’t want to miss a second of what beautiful things you create.
I am a big fan and I love your videos I bought all the stuff and it’s slowly coming and I am inspired to make some videos like you. I’m usually shy but this is perfect because it’s just hands with gloves so you can’t really show your identity. I love that you talk instead of music. I think mine will have to be with talking because I don’t know how to put background music besides playing music and I don’t want to deal with all of the copyright stuff LOL
Love the birds singing at the end. These 2 coasters are so very pretty 😍 In the sun they look like sprigs of babies breath or fireworks 💥 Thanks for sharing 😊🤗
Don't listen to the people who say you take too long. Your process is YOUR process and however long it takes doesn't matter. They don't have to watch. Don't feel obligated to speed through and be uncomfortable to appease them. Do what you do. I love your videos
That’s exactly right. Those who don’t want to see the process can easily fast forward and those of us who wants to see every little thing can set and just enjoy your process and company
Like you said, it’s your art, enjoy the process! It’s beyond me why people complain about the length of videos. Fast forward, people! It’s there for your use!
I just started doing resin crafts and been watching a lot of videos for inspiration. Yours is always informative, natural, and relaxing to watch. I dont usually watch long videos but I am so watching all of your videos. Thank you!!
I am always amazed at how much mica powder you use, I use a tiny tiny bit and it still comes out black, and how fast you stir your resin, mine would be bubble city, shame we can't get Barnes Clariti resin in the UK, seems like good stuff.
My husband and I just started pour painting after watching some of your work. We want to give resin art a try as well after watching you create. Keep up the great content. We learn so much.
When I first started I didn't know I thing thinking that the resin I got would come with some sort instruction etc, but no, no safety instructions just mix for five minutes were my instructions, and that was years ago. So today is a bit different about learning and your making it so easy for people and especially safety with resins we all need that, beautiful 💕 coasters, keep up the cool work,
Don’t be sorry for the length of your videos. It’s a video, if people have to pause and come back to, it won’t hit us. I love watching you learn about resin regardless of the length. Everything you do is so beautiful.
Ok Julie since I found you I have spent more money on supplies 🤣 first I was doing paint pouring with you and now I have to do resin 😲 and people saw me buying resin in Michaels and were asking me questions and I was explaining and then I just gave them your RUclips channel 😂🤣❤️ I did get a cool chunky bangle bracelet mold at Michaels so I think I'll do that one first to test 😊
-cheers!!!!!!!- beautiful Julie xxxx you need gold spray paint . montana or rustoleum are the best.. thrt stay on the top.. dont mix into the resin like pigment or mica. just dip a cocktail stick in the paint then trail it through the coaster where you want it
I like how you are finding ways to move the glitter to the outside of the piece, instead of the glitter just staying in the center. Purposeful glitter placement can add such great effects
Julie, I never fast forward these videos! I learn a ton listening to your thought process, things I may not think of at all! I am hoping to try these very soon...as my budget allows, lol. I'm hoping to give a set of 8, along with a tray to my daughter and my son's girlfriend. I am definitely going to follow your lead and make at least the tray mold myself! Making my own molds will save me quite a good bit...thank you so much!!!
I really love these two!!! My ingredients are supposed to be here on Sunday. Can't wait to try it out on Monday. You're doing a great job. Hope ik can do half as well.
I did some in black and silver mixed I liked them really well. And some black and gold mixed they turned out pretty also. Try mixing and see how that does mixing.
Thank you for getting back to me on the mats. Do you have a video on how to finish your resin coasters and trays? I am learning so much watching your resin videos. Keep up your videos. Anna from Arizona 👍🏻
It would be nice to see some other colors used in your projects besides gold. It's clear it's your favorite color. Mine's blue. How about some blue and white silver ?
Helpful hints: If you wet your skin with cold water then rub exposed skin area with a pair of hosiery, (do not reuse the hoisery), hose captures the resin dust then wash with warm water that won't happen,..my son worked with this daily..... Thought I would pass this hint on to you..hope it helps
Black and gold ia just such a sexy combination. I think that if you used a dence gold like Molten gold it would partly sink through but it would give you a nice film of gold on top. Also, you can actually double dip into the powder as tge powder will grab onto the wet stick, unless you drip resin into it. And even then, it's easy enough to scoop out the resin ones it sets. However you should never dip a resin stick into a paste or a liquid as it will contaminate it and ruin most of it😉
Holy cow it's $26 there!? They are $10.99 here, I am in Florida and just checked Michael's Craft Store. Normally I would gripe about that price BUT shall bite my tongue this time lol. The 2 that have the see through center are soooo pretty just love them!!
If I were to do this, I'd put just the thinnest bit of black around the edge and more clear in the center. Maybe the black would not take over the entire piece and leave a clear spot in the middle. Thanks for the video!
Hi Julie, I'm not sure if you've been told before on another video, but you shouldn't use heat on your moulds, it melts them and causes them to stick! Instead spritz with isopropyl alcohol, it pops the bubbles and draws the others to the surface.
So happy to see This, as I was curious about how these paints work with resin! Thank you, Julie! These are so pretty, and got me wondering if you have tried any color shifting pigments against black. And interference pigments. Also the mylar flakes that look mostly white, but their true colors come out beautifully against black. Just an idea. Love to you!
Try pouring resin colors together. Like blue, green, and silver. Straight pour, like drizzling each color together. Then fill each mold, torch and let cure.
I love this hobby but I can't afford to experiment with different resins and I'm not sure about the art-resin I bought letting it sit for 40 minutes before heating the coaster to expand the petals, does anyone know about art-resin, I use that brand to resin my canvases.
Your coaster are amazing! 😍 I do have a question, new to this... I'm having a real hard time finding a resin that set really hard and not flexible to do trays and coasters. Do you or anyone have any suggestions? Thanks
there are several if they are mixed exact...in the us I've used epoxy resin store, ks resin and krystal resin that are good. stone coat art coat as well, but it is a 2 week hard cure
Lovely. You may want to consider sanding outside if you aren't already. Plenty of stories of people sanding resin in an enclosed space that have medical issues after the fact. Resin dust will stay and move around in an enclosed space.
I just started working with resin and began with coasters. I’m finishing my colours aren’t bleeding into each other like yours and I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong. Any advice?
I wanted to duplicate your edging style, but found a problem with obtaining the right colors with a chisel tip. I did find some empty, refillable paint pens on Amazon, and this my be the way to go for me. I can add a stainless steel be be in them for shaking too.
@@PouringYourHeartOut ok I'll try to explain but it's hard, the lacing colour has to be heavier in body n pigment then the colour your trying to push it across if you get the drift. I won't say anything else it will confuse us all,
Pour my first coasters tonight with silver sparkles and dried flowers. I couldn't wait to try this after watching you.
You are not boring. You are an excellent teacher. Thank you 🦋
They look like Queen Anne's lace flowers embedded in resin. So beautiful.
Your never boring, I love that you’re willing to experience new things, ignore that negative!
This is your channel, take as long as you like
the black and silver is breath takeing.
Take as long as you need. People can fast forward if they need to. You do you
I love the black and silver. You’re teaching me a lot. ❤❤

I loved both, the black and gold was beautiful 😻

As far as I'm concerned you can take as long as you want. I like longer videos😁💕
Because I am new to resin, I love watching you work with resin, I try to do the same projects . Thank you for explaining everything !
I love love love the black and silver. GORGEOUS 💜
Hi Julie, these are amazing. I love the black and silver. You are a wonderful artist. I watch you all the time.

Apart from your art... I must say u r an amazingggg woman!!!
Lots of love and best wishes from India :-)
Oh wow! I love all four of them. The gold is beautiful in the black. The silver leafing is totally amazing.
They are all lovely!! I love the silver flakes...gorgeous. You have to stop second guessing yourself...you have great vision!
I just started doing resin crafts and been watching a lot of videos for inspiration. Yours is always informative, natural, and relaxing to watch. I dont usually watch long videos but I am so watching all of your videos. Thank you!!
Hello Julie. I love all your videos. You do your thing and forget about how long the vidoes are. it's enjoyable
I really love those. After you poured them, I thought they looked like the night sky with shimmering stars!
I am always amazed at how much mica powder you use, I use a tiny tiny bit and it still comes out black, and how fast you stir your resin, mine would be bubble city, shame we can't get Barnes Clariti resin in the UK, seems like good stuff.
Oh Julie, I love those molds!! These will be very pretty. Can’t wait til the end results.
I love them!!!!!!! You do a great job. I have watched so many of your videos I think I have gotten an accent. I mean that in the kindest way
That’s so funny I just popped in on my son with a mix of accents from my fav artists 👩🎨
The first 2 looked great just different these 2 look fabulous with the edging .
Yep, love making resin clocks now. And resining my pours. It's all so fun!

I’ve tried adding crystals or flakes after the resin has cured for an hour or so and the don’t sink as much.
Beautiful work.

Julie, if you want a gold that floats on the top and gives beautiful effects try Mehron powder. These coasters were very interesting :)
I have ordered some :)
Glorious 😍❤️👌
I’ve cut the top of long tube socks and used them to protect my arms, just and idea to help protect your skin😍
What an awesome idea, thank you so much for letting us know, very much appreciated. 🙂💖
love your channel :) if you let the gold get really thick it would stay one top of the black a bit more :)
I love Geodes .
Love your videos
Lovely

Oh, and with the leaf, you can put some in a dry cup and then use some sharp scissors and kind of chop it up.
Those would look great over solid color tablecloths

What a wonderful idea! I'm wondering if the color shifting in with white pearl would make them look like opals!?
amazing work..
How pretty. I love your work. I wonder if this can be done on a piece of wood? I have a little piece of bark I want to try.

Julie which Resin is the that you use the most of part A or part B
It seems that your always using different resin. My resin is 1 to 1 will this work ok.
