- Watch me sew cute quilted fabric baskets - fat quarter scrap friendly project! This is a free sewing pattern to make a small basket around 5 x 4 inches. You only need 10 x 10 inch fabric squares and a piece of foam stabilizer like Soft & Stable. I chose to quilt my main fabric to the Soft & Stable.
