Thank you for reacting to this angel. Angelica is the first Children's Ambassador for the National Kidney Foundation. She is also a spokesperson for the Sepsis Association. She travels to various functions bringing awareness to these health concerns that she has personally experienced. A 12 minute mini documentary about Angelica's hospital story can be seen on the Angelica Hale RUclips channel. I thank God for modern medicine every time I hear her sing. Her humble spirit is as big and beautiful as her voice.

Thank you for your honest reaction. Angelica is my hero. She has a lot of very loyal fans who follow her every move. Her personality is as amazing as her voice.
Angelica has overcome so much just love her she is so special. Her lungs are so damaged from her illness she has to work so hard to try to develope them to hold more air.

Yes, little Angelica almost died. Her mother saved her by giving her a kidney. But she spent a lot of time in the hospital, and still needs to be checked today. I think the amazing emotional maturity of this child has its cause in this painful episode. Especially very young, those who have missed out on death, often win years, even decades, of personal evolution compared to others. And Angelica is indeed very involved in humanitarian work.
But it's obviously the emotion she puts in her songs that sets her apart from other kids her age. If we compare her to Celine Tam (who competed in the same AGT season), I would say that Celine is more vocally perfect, but Angelica is emotionally 10 years ahead of Celine.
That said at the time of this performance (Hero), Angelica was perhaps in a difficult period at the vocal level. Today she is better... and even at 9, during AGT, she was even more amazing.
Anyway, she is wonderful, and it's always a great pleasure to listen to her and see her.
