This helped me so much I cant express how grateful I am!
Thank you!! reminded me about what I forgot several years ago, Thanks again!!!
This was the best video I’ve seen. Usually people talk slow and take 15 mins to teach me 5 simple steps. But you didn’t, you were right. No clickbait you taught me the distance formula under 7 mins and I thank you for that🥲🙏. I have a geometry test coming up so I’ll update you on my score😜
Its been a year. What’dya get?
Thanks! Very clear explanation! I am a semi-retired music teacher, learning more about math just as an interest, and to challenge my brain.
Thanks I like the video about distance formula easy and straight to the point
thank you, it was so much help
Thanks i really need these videos
the Greater X or Y is the first number I got a number in the hundreds
Thanks gang
Am confussed on the calculation part
I think
if you remove the earring you will understand
It's basically the Pythagoras theorem. The distance we are looking for is the hypotenuse of a right triangle (he didn't draw it). Pythagoras says : hypotenuse = square_root_of(side A^2 + side B^2). Try and look at it as a right triangle and see if it makes more sense.
@@10OzGlove this is a distance formula for a slope/ Rise over Run
@Shmane Humphrey No it's not. Slope or Rise over Run is to calculate the rate of change. This one is to calculate a distance between to points on a Cartesian plane. It is the same as the Pythagorean theorem. A^2+B^2 = C^2. The distance formula is a formalization of the Pythagorean Theorem using x and y coordinates. In other words, they are the same thing in two seemingly different contexts.
@@namya501 im crying
Thank you
Thanks
what about if there are 3 coordinates T_T i'm having a really difficult time
Why not explain the √90 is √9&√10 and its answer is 3√10
That is what I got but somehow he got a decimal which confused me entirely.
you kinda sound like soos from gravity falls
