oooh I love warm fuzzy socks. Thank you for breaking it all down for us. My long term is getting my mortgage paid off early. I want to have that paid off before we retire. I am also saving for end of life because I don't want my kids to have to worry about any of that.
Thanks for doing this video. I did try the 100 envelope challenge and it took me 3 years to finish because I was going at my own pace. I now do the version from 2 sister bees where I just add $1 for each envelope. At the end, I put that money in my sinking funds jar. At the end of the year, I use all the money saved to fund my next year's sinking funds.❤ some long-term challenges I will be working on in 2025: back to school (I'm a teacher), christmas/black friday/after christmas, travel. This year I started Tiny Tuesdays each week, I love chipping away at mini challenges then adding them to a big goal when they're done. I now have more binders than when I started buying them in January 2024 but I love saving and now I love supporting others by buying their challenges. 😍
❤ Hey Mama Bear! ❤ 2024 has been the year when I have seriously committed myself to cash budgeting. Even though I'm starting out slower than I would prefer, I am doing what I can with what I have, where I'm at. I'm grateful for the kindness, support, and encouragement of this community. At this stage of the game, completing the smaller challenges gives me the satisfaction of more frequent wins. Little by very little, I am adding to my various binders while paying off debt. This too shall pass, yes. Unfortunately it's too easy to get discouraged because progress is slow.
Hey Steph, hehehe. I am the avocado lady 😝. Yay, so happy you loved your happy Mail. That Minnie concha reminded me of you. 😊 Greta video friend, happy holidays 🫶🏻
Love this video! Thank you for sharing how overwhelming saving long term can be. I did what you did at first and didn't see much progress. This year I'm focusing quarterly to stay motivated and realistic! Yay for completing a section!!! 💕🐻
Great video! So inspirational. I am so happy I found you and this village. The progress I have made in the last year and a half has been amazing. I am currently saving for a cruise to the Baltic Sea with my two best friends in the fall of 2025.
Oh my goodness....I guess I'm done shopping. What I have will have to do. I was doing ok, considering that I'm trying to recover from surgery....then on 12/16 Monday, my husband fell on the job and broke his Fibula in 3 places, tibula in 1 and fractured his ankle. He can't use crutches, and is non weight bearing. I am a planner and this sent me into a tail spin. Sis and I are going to plan tonight for Christmas Eve...normally we go to her house, but I think they will come here...and we can still do Christmas Morning here too like normal. I have an intentional Hernia that won't be repaired until next year, so I can't take any of my Husbands weight....Thankful for my son who helps when he can. Sweetie I'm feeling your caregiver challenges. I love that man so much! So thankful because it could have been worse. Love your channel, keeping you in my thoughts and prayers.
Hi Steph, Christmas is coming fast. Love the happy mail. I love to start fresh in the new year too. I love mixing up big and small challenges to knock off my goals ❤😊
I am doing the Month Ahead, $2025 in 2025, and both high priority and low priority sinking funds. Saving for remodel as well. It’s going to be a good year!!!
I am so excited for 2025 I can’t even tell you! I bet you are excited for your cruise next fall-what a great time to go! Get away from the November blahs and catch some rays 😎
Just found out property taxes are going up this year. That's the biggest iM saving for. I have smaller challenges going to it but also a larger one. In total we pay about 4500 in taxes. Ugh
I do get/ feel overwhelmed with saving money. I think it's because I want to do it all and because I don't always have enough money to put in them all, I feel like I'll never catch up. In 2025 though, even if i can't put a much in them or i might have to skip a week, it'll be ok. I'll just add what i can and I'll try not to get discouraged.
I had to think about it. I want to be a month ahead next year And save my first 1.000 emergency fund And I'm saving for a disney cruise in the next cople of years😊

Hello Steph. I am so scared to do a 100 envelope challenge as well. IDK there is something about it that is so intimidating.
We could do it together!
